    Celtics vs Heat Prediction

Just 48 hours ago, the proposition of these Eastern Conference Finals extending to a decisive Game 7 seemed pretty far-fetched. The Celtics vs Heat betting odds ahead of Friday’s Game 6 matchup in Boston heavily favored the home team. Up three games to two and with the Heat seeming to be too banged-up to offer any sort of true resistance, virtually all NBA betting trends pointed towards the Celtics closing things out on their home floor. Then, Jimmy Butler happened.

After battling a nagging knee injury in Games 3-5 and seeing his performance suffer greatly as a result, it seems safe to say that Butler was feeling a bit better on Friday night. A 47-point performance stole the headlines, but to say that Butler did more than just score in Game 6 would be an understatement. He finished just one rebound and two assists shy of a triple-double and had a quartet of steals.

    Most 40-point games this playoffs:

    3 — Luka Doncic
    3 — Giannis Antetokounmpo pic.twitter.com/TPZZzc66CA

After quite literally willing the Heat to the win two nights ago, is Butler capable of replicating his historic performance in Game 7? Well, he might not need to be quite as proficient offensively if Miami gets NBA Tyler Herro back from a groin injury. Herro officially remains questionable on the Game 7 Celtics vs Heat injury report, as do several other players for both teams. Aside from Herro, all other players are expected to be available on Sunday night.

The general Celtics vs Heat betting notion has been that Boston simply has too much depth. Butler is now challenging the idea that Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the top two offensive threats in this matchup. Veteran point guard Kyle Lowry also finally showed up for the Heat on Friday with a 13-point, 10-assist effort. If Bam Adebayo and Victor Oladipo are also able to contribute more offensively in Game 7, the Heat will be in a great position to earn the win at home. As for the best Celtics vs Heat prediction, it’s impossible to not look at playing over a stunningly low betting total of 196.5.
