Calvin Austin III Draft Profile

Calvin Austin III is a very productive player who is capable of getting chunk yardage despite his stature. His feet are his biggest asset, and his speed is multidimensional. At 4.32-second speed in the 40-yard-dash, he possesses the ability to blow defenders away and is liable for a juke on any point of the field. Austin is coming off back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 yards receiving and has two 70+ yard rushing touchdowns to his credit.

With just 16 drops and one career fumble, Calvin Austin III has been very reliable with the ball in his hands in all situations except the kick return, dropping the ball at a greater than 10% rate. NFL teams looking to take advantage of his experience in the kicking game will have to take into consideration his three muffed punts on 29 career return attempts.
