In the 2019 season, the Buffalo Bills finished at 10-6, their first 10-win season since 1999. With signings like John Brown, Cole Beasley and Frank Gore, the team seemed to have gotten the push they needed, making the playoffs for the second time in the last three seasons. It looks like GM Brandon Beane and HC Sean McDermott have turned things around in Buffalo.
With the AFC East wide open this season, the Bills will need to keep their foot on the gas. They have already made a few key acquisitions this offseason in hopes to get over the hump, but with such a deep draft class, Buffalo will be able to fill a number of their needs in the NFL Draft.

Bills Biggest Draft Needs
Cornerback (CB)
The Bills have their proven CB1 in Tre’davious White, but when it comes to the second or third options, there’s room for improvement. The Bills took a chance by signing Josh Norman this offseason, but it looks to be more of a depth move than anything. Drafting a young talent to add to the CB competition doesn’t seem to be much of a risk for the Bills. Having three guys in Norman, Levi Wallace, and a young rookie corner battle it out would bode well for the success in the secondary.
Dream Pick: Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia at No. 86 overall
Running Back (RB)
The Bills most certainly has their guy in Devin Singletary, as he had a stellar rookie season, averaging 5.1 yards per carry. However, it is not likely that the Bills will be bringing back Gore for next season, so the door is wide open to try and get one of the top running backs in this year’s draft class. It is possible that Buffalo could grab someone like J.K. Dobbins or Johnathan Taylor to add a bit of a one-two punch at the running back position. It couldn’t hurt, as McDermott uses a run-based offense, and we’ve all seen how good RB duos have been in the league recently.
Dream Pick: J.K Dobbins, RB, Ohio State at No. 54 overall
Edge Rusher (EDGE)
The Bills addressed the lack of edge players this offseason by signing Mario Addison, but Addison will be 33 years old by the time the season begins. Same with Jerry Hughes, as he will be 32 next season. If the Bills want to solidify that position and have them get a year or two of mentoring from both Addison and Hughes, it could bode well long-term. Adding more pass rush also doesn’t hurt, as they’ve lost both Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips to free agency, also.
