Betting on the NBA Finals raises the stakes for you at home, regardless on whether your team is still alive or not. It makes the game for exciting, and placing NBA Finals prop bets does this to an even greater degree, since you have more to cheer for than simply the game result. Let’s take a look at a few of the best NBA betting props to place tonight for Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.
Before we get into our NBA betting props, it’s important to note that Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as doubtful for tonight, following his private workout in Phoenix. The Giannis injury update greatly impacts the rest of the game. Should he get ruled active, an update will display here.

P.J. Tucker Rebounds – Over 5.5 (-138)
I’m not sure why sportsbooks hate P.J. Tucker, but I plan to continue making money off his rebounding NBA betting props tonight. Tucker is coming off an eight-rebound game, where half of his boards came on the offensive glass. He has seven or more rebounds in five of his last six games. These are two teams that should put up a lot of shots and play good defense, leading to plenty of rebounding opportunities. With Giannis doubtful for tonight as well, Tucker has an easier time racking up rebounds he normally would not get.
P.J. Tucker Rebounds + Assists – Over 7.5 (+108)
There isn’t much to say about this prop. Simply, we’re building on our last one. Tucker may hit the over on this with his rebounds alone. He also has multiple assists in four of his last six games, averaging 1.7 per game over this stretch.
Deandre Ayton Rebounds – Over 11.5 (-105)
We have seen Deandre Ayton become a star during these NBA Playoffs. He has game-winning shots, blocks and many double-doubles. His rebounding success should continue tonight. With a matchup with Brook Lopez, he doesn’t face much competition for rebounds down low. The Bucks have also shown the tendency to settle for too many contested threes with Giannis out, leading to even more rebounding opportunities. Ayton is coming off a 17-rebound game, and he grabbed 22 rebounds two games before that. He has 12 or more rebounds in three of his last four matchups against the Bucks, including 13 the last time they met.
Jrue Holiday Rebounds + Assists – Over 14.5 (-115)
While Jrue Holiday has not been nearly as aggressive as he should be on the offensive end of the floor, that could actually help us for this NBA betting prop. If he wants to defer to his teammates, fine, since it usually leads to assists. Holiday has nine or more assists in five of his last six games, averaging 10.75 over his last four. Now, Giannis being out helps Holiday’s rebounding as well. There were many times that Giannis grabbed the defensive rebound quickly in order to get out and start the break. Without his presence on the floor, Holiday can grab more rebounds to do the same exact thing. We have seen this the past two games, where Holiday grabbed six and nine rebounds in the two games without Giannis.
