Today in sports history, one of the craziest NFL games in recent history transpired. It is the 10-year anniversary of the Tim Tebow playoffs overtime throw to Demaryius Thomas in the Wild Card game. The Denver Broncos came into this game in the midst of Tebow-mania. The great Florida quarterback led the Broncos to an 8-8 record and matched up against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Round. Today in sports history, one of the craziest sports stories of all time transpired. One day before the U.S Figure Skating Championship, Nancy Kerrigan was attacked after a practice session. Shane Stant was the culprit, as he struck Kerrigan in the back of the knee. Tonya Harding, who was known as one of Kerrigan’s rivals, had set the attack up, with the help of her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly. Belichick began his coaching career as a special assistant with the Baltimore Ravens in 1975.
