With our Week 6 games behind us, we are just about halfway through the 2019 fantasy football regular season and you should have a pretty good idea of where your team stands in your leagues. If you find yourself at 6-0, you should probably start preparing your team for the playoff push by adding your handcuffs and even consider setting up your team with a DST with a good playoff schedule. If you are closer to a fringe playoff team, you need to do everything you can to get through the bye week gauntlet with as many wins as you…

In Week 6, we finally get the answer to one of our most burning questions: who is the worst team in the NFL? Is it the 0-4 Miami Dolphins or the 0-5 Washington Redskins? Week 6 also marks the start of a very difficult stretch of bye weeks. In six of the next seven weeks, there will be at least four teams on bye, with the Bills, Bears, Colts and Raiders all off this week. Whether you are affected by the bye weeks or injuries, you may need to find a waiver wire gem for this week. The following are…

We are through four weeks of the regular season and there are only three teams that are still undefeated and they have all done it in slightly different ways. For the second week in a row, there are only two teams on bye and neither have many relevant fantasy players; the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins. If you have been starting Kerryon Johnson, Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones or Preston Williams, you need to make sure you have replacements in place. Some of my favorite waiver wire adds to fill the voids left by injuries or bye weeks follow. To be…

For NFL players, bye weeks mean a week of recovery, rest and hopefully some well-earned time with their families. For fantasy owners, it means that you are likely without one or more of your starters and need to find an adequate replacement. For the next nine weeks of the season, at least two teams will be on bye at a time. Bye weeks can be tricky, but they are a good opportunity for the savvy fantasy owner to separate themselves from the rest of their league. One way to do this, aside from reading this waiver wire article, is to…

The 2019 season is off and running now and we have a better sample size to use when we make our lineup and roster decisions. Two games is still not a lot, so it is important to not overreact, but two is better than one. A few things we have learned this season so far are that Patrick Mahomes is still really good, the Dolphins could be the worst team in NFL history and the Patriots again are the Super Bowl favorite. Before the season started, everyone thought that Mahomes would regress slightly in yardage and touchdowns, but so far…

It is always hard to not over react to what we see during Week 1 of the NFL season, but in order to win your fantasy league, you need to do just that. You should go out and try and acquire players who did well last week, but by no means should you drop players who did not do well without context. For instance, Adrian Peterson was a healthy scratch and was a cut candidate in my first draft of this article just two days ago, but now he is one of my top RB adds with Guice expected to…

Every year, owners are looking for the mid-to-late-round running backs that can help push them towards a fantasy championship. However, this season there seems to be a lot of value in the mid-to-late-rounds at the wide receiver position. Two of the wide receivers that have been getting a lot of hype this off season are Dede Westbrook of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Curtis Samuel of the Carolina Panthers. Westbrook and Samuel are currently being drafted in the eighth and ninth rounds, respectively. Both third-year wide receivers have produced in the NFL already and find themselves in a better position to…

In 2019, Ben Roethlisberger threw for career-high in both yards and highest touchdown total. This led to him producing two top-12 fantasy wide receivers for the first time in his career: Antonio Brown (WR2) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR9). Throughout his career, there have been four seasons that the Steelers have had multiple top-24 receivers. Roethlisberger has produced 10 fantasy WR1s, six fantasy WR2s and seven fantasy WR3s over the past 15 seasons. With the departure of Brown, JuJu has emerged as the far and ahead number one wide receiver on the team fantasy-wise (current ADP: WR7, 18th overall). The next…
