I am a simple Wisconsin man: I love beer and sports. I decided to create FlurrySports because I was sick of the politics and non-stories that the fat cat corporations put out. When you see football articles from me, just know that I combine my knowledge from playing, coaching, athletic training, and sports management/economic courses to give you a unique, but I feel well-rounded point of view. I am always down to talk about anything, so follow me on Twitter @FantasyFlurry if you decide you want more of me!

Last week was absolutely brutal for some of the top fantasy performers. Patrick Mahomes dislocated his kneecap, Kerryon Johnson and Will Fuller were lost for a number of weeks, and other top QB options like Matt Ryan and Kyler Murray severely underperformed. Well, Week 8 is a new week, so all we can do is look forward to these matchups and get a W. Luckily, we only have two teams on bye this week, with the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys both off. These two teams have a bunch of fantasy relevancy, so make sure to you use my Week…

As preseason comes to an end and the regular NBA season commences, talk has already turned to the potential hierarchy come April and the playoffs. With fans already checking out the latest NBA betting odds, the LA Clippers are the favourites for the title this year, closely followed by their LA rivals, the Lakers. Last year’s Championship winners, the Toronto Raptors, made history last season when they became the first team outside the USA to win the NBA title and are massive outsiders again this year. Week 6 in the NFL season was full of upsets, disappointing performances and the refs dictating results of games. To heal the hole in my heart that gets ever larger every time there’s a missed call or a referee attempts to explain himself, I am thinking about developing a fantasy format next season in which you can draft an officiating crew. It could be treated like a D/ST, where the crew starts out with a set number of points, then every missed call they get points subtracted. However, there will be bonus points for phantom calls, since that clearly is…

If the matchup in New England on a short week was not bad enough for the New York Giants, they will now be severely short-handed on offense, missing arguably their three best playmakers. However, this does open the door for other players in this offense, making them intriguing options for fantasy football in Week 6. CLICK HERE for Week 6 Fantasy Rankings! Running Backs Saquon Barkley being ruled out is not at all surprising. Him being listed as a limited participant was as easy to see through as a window, with them trying to play mind games with the masters…

Getting the best fantasy football rankings for Week 6 will be as important as ever, with this interesting week of football we have up ahead. To start, we have four teams on bye for the first time all season: Bears, Bills, Colts and Raiders. There is a bunch of fantasy relevancy on the four listed teams, especially at the RB position. The unavailability of these players, along with the injuries were are navigating, can create headaches when setting your perfect lineup in what may be a must-win week. If that wasn’t enough, Week 6 also has the rare must-lose matchup…

We are a month into the NFL season and most teams are a quarter of the way through their games. Only 12 games left, Dolphins fans. Actually, Dolphins fans may be more content than Bengals fans. While Miami is openly tanking, Cincinnati looks almost as bad, has the same record and they continue to roll Andy Dalton out there still not fully committing to him being in their future plans. After almost a decade in the league, the Bengals are still figuring out if Dalton is their quarterback or not…yikes. Hopefully you have a bit more stability on your fantasy…

There could not be a better matchup for Seattle Seahawks tight end Will Dissly this week. It’s one thing to be bad against a position, but I’m not entirely sure if the Cardinals know that there’s a TE on the field with them. CLICK HERE for Week 4 Fantasy Rankings Arizona has allowed a crazy 21.6 fantasy points to opposing TEs this season in 1/2 PPR leagues. This is 9.4 points worse than the next team, which is the Los Angeles Chargers. Take a look at the performances of the top TE on the opposing teams this season: T.J. Hockenson…
