I am a simple Wisconsin man: I love beer and sports. I decided to create FlurrySports because I was sick of the politics and non-stories that the fat cat corporations put out. When you see football articles from me, just know that I combine my knowledge from playing, coaching, athletic training, and sports management/economic courses to give you a unique, but I feel well-rounded point of view. I am always down to talk about anything, so follow me on Twitter @FantasyFlurry if you decide you want more of me!

2018 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony The opening ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics kicked off with the athletes from both Koreas marching under a unified flag, as announced last month. This will be an article that is updated throughout the day, since I can’t imagine the Cavs are finished yet! This is what we have so far: Lakers Trade Lakers Get: Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, Cavs’ protected first-round pick in 2018 Cavs Get: Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. This trade sends away two expiring contracts while gaining two young, talented guys that will make an immediate impact.…

Isaiah Thomas’ stay in Cleveland was as short as his height, after news broke that the Cleveland Cavaliers traded the point guard to the Los Angeles Lakers. The full breakdown of the trade is as follows: Lakers Get: Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, Cavs’ protected first-round pick in 2018 Cavs Get: Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. Of course, Isaiah Thomas was sent to Cleveland this summer in a trade that brought Kyrie Irving to Boston. It sure seems like Boston won that trade, since Kyrie is playing like an All-Star, while IT appeared in only 15 games for the Cavs,…
