The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
When evaluating Abdul Carter, his quick hands and ability to strike the offense before they strike him jump off the page. Using those quick hands and a quick burst, Carter has shown the ability to penetrate through any gap on the defensive line. What makes it more impressive is that there seems to be no wasted movement from Carter in his pass rush. Carter also uses an incredible balance to dip and work tightly around the edge. On top of this ability is a Dwight Freeney-esque spin move that stifles offensive linemen.
Weaknesses
As is the case with all pass rushers making the move to the professional ranks, being able to play the run as well as the pass is going to be key to success. Even with his speed, Carter’s size leaves a little to be desired, as bigger tackles will be able to overwhelm him.
