Stream These Fantasy Football TE Options in Week 13
Theo Johnson vs New England Patriots (54.6%)
Even without Jaxson Dart playing for the New York Giants, Theo Johnson continues to play the role of a go-to receiving option in the absence of Malik Nabers, along with Wan’Dale Robinson. Over his past three games, Johnson has totaled more than 75 yards twice. Over the course of the season, Johnson has totaled 427 yards and five touchdowns on 39 receptions and 60 targets. With Dart back in the mix, Johnson is expected to continue to be a big part of the offense, as the Ole Miss alum has targeted Johnson 25 times.
Johnson will get a chance to reprise his role in the offense, as the Giants take on the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football this week. On the season, the Patriots are giving up 7.3 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. That includes giving up 760 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns on the season. We saw what the combination of Robinson and Johnson can do in this offense last week. Those two are so complementary to each other, as one opens the deep part of the field, while one opens the intermediate. Look for Johnson to build on his budding connection with Dart this week.

Dawson Knox vs Pittsburgh Steelers (2.4%)
It has become clear that the Buffalo Bills need a tight end receiving option for this offense to get to the level that we know that they can be. With Dalton Kincaid sidelined with a hamstring injury, I thought Dawson Knox would seamlessly fill that role. That has not been the case though, which is kind of frustrating, because we know that Josh Allen and Knox have a connection. With Kincaid’s injury status still up in the air, I am still willing to take a flier on Knox this week, as he will be the starting tight end if Kincaid is out. Even if Kincaid does play, Knox’s run-blocking ability is good enough to keep him on the field.
Luckily for Dawson Knox and the Buffalo Bills as a whole, they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, who have been bad against the fantasy football TE position this season. This year, the Steelers are giving up 9.5 fantasy points per game to the position. That includes giving up 727 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. We have seen Kincaid thrive in a featured tight end role with Buffalo. While that has not been the case this season, what better game to get it back going than against the team that gives up the fourth most fantasy points to tight ends?
Dalton Schultz vs Indianapolis Colts (53.8%)
Since Houston’s Week 6 bye, it looked like Dalton Schultz had a solid role in this Texans’ passing offense. That continued even after CJ Stroud went down with an injury and Davis Mills stepped in to lead the offense. Since that bye week, Schultz had put together fantasy finishes of TE8, TE28, TE7, TE4 and TE10. While those numbers look great as someone who is probably available on your waivers, that subsided last week, as Schultz managed just one reception last week, finishing as TE45. That might scare many off of him, but I am not ready to give up on the veteran just yet.
Some of that belief that I have in Schultz comes from his matchup with the Indianapolis Colts this week. With how good the Colts have been on the season, they have been susceptible to being beaten through the air by tight ends. In fact, on the season, the Colts are giving up 9.4 fantasy points per game to the position. That includes 70 receptions for 794 yards and five touchdowns. I am willing to take the gamble on starting Schultz again this week if you need a streamer, as Stroud comes back to the offense and is going to need that big intermediate target to integrate back into the offense.
