Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups Week 4 | Fantasy Experts Sound Off
We asked these industry experts who their top Week 4 fantasy football waiver wire pickups are. The player chosen had to be under 60% ownership on ESPN Fantasy. Here are their choices!
Erika — Elic Ayomanor, WR, Titans (21% Rostered)
As of now, Elic Ayomanor is WR36 on the year. He hasn’t had those huge games just yet, but fantasy-wise, he has scored 15.6 and 13.8 points over the last two weeks. Overall, he’s currently higher than Ridley. Ayomanor is averaging 30% of WR targets in the offense and is playing on 75% of snaps. He has fewer targets and snaps than Ridley, but he is seeing more production with those receptions.
Tennessee is up against the Texans this week, whose starting corner is out with an injury.
Zach Brunner (FlurrySports) — Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals (55% Rostered)
Without hesitation, Trey Benson is the fantasy football waiver wire pickup you need to make this week. While I believe he is a good player who is a locked-in RB2 with upside, even if you are not a believer, you still should make this claim. There are teams in your fantasy league who need RB talent, and there are other team owners who feel like me and like Benson a lot. If you don’t want to play him, simply pick him up and trade him for something you do need. Regardless of your goal, claim this value.
Kendall Valenzuela (Fantasy Life) — Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals (55% Rostered) / Emari Demercado, RB, Cardinals (1% Rostered)
Unfortunately, James Conner went down with a season-ending injury during Week 3. And with his season over, the next man up in this offense is Trey Benson. He might be rostered in your league, but if he isn’t for some reason, then you need to add him immediately, and he should be at the top of the list.
Here’s what Trey Benson’s workload looked like after Conner’s injury on Sunday: 87% snaps, 71% attempts, 50% routes. If he’s rostered, you can turn to Emari Demercado, who won’t be startable right away but is a good stash play.
Geoff Lambert (GoingFor2) — Tre Tucker, WR, Raiders (2.2% Rostered)
