Week 4 Fantasy Football QB Streaming Options
Sam Darnold at Arizona Cardinals (8.7%)
Throwing out his poor performance in Week 1, Sam Darnold has quietly put together back-to-back solid weeks against the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints. In those games, Darnold has combined for 37 points. This week, he has a chance to continue his solid streak with a good matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. What Darnold has going for him in this matchup is that the Cardinals have given up 826 passing yards this season, which is the second-most in the NFL so far this season. On top of that, they have given up four touchdowns through the air.
If you were someone who drafted Joe Burrow and doesn’t feel comfortable starting Jake Browning after last week, Darnold may be the safe floor that you need this week. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Tory Horton and Ken Walker starting the season looking good, Darnold has the weapons to put up another solid week against a defense that has gotten torched through the air this year.

Carson Wentz vs Pittsburgh Steelers (4.4%)
In any of the past seasons, choosing Carson Wentz in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense seems questionable. This season, though, Pittsburgh’s defense looks like a shell of its former self. That sets Carson Wentz up for a solid week this week. In his first start of the season, Wentz totaled 173 passing yards and two touchdowns in a game where the defense did the majority of the heavy lifting. In a game where Aaron Rodgers will control the ball better than Jake Browning, Wentz will have to shoulder more of the load.
With Justin Jefferson, TJ Hockenson, Jordan Mason and Kevin O’Connell at the helm, Wentz certainly has the pieces around him to continue this week with another solid floor, especially against a bad defense in London.
Geno Smith vs Chicago Bears (19.9%)
Geno Smith put together his best week as a Raider last game, with 289 yards and three touchdowns. It certainly seems that he has solid connections with Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker, and with a lack of a run game, it looks like passing is what will lead this Vegas offense. This week, the Raiders take on a Chicago Bears team that has been gashed through the air this season. They have given up 81 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far, good for the third-most in the NFL this season.
If the Bears’ offense is in fact clicking, the Raiders do not pose a threat on the defensive side of the ball. That leads me to believe that the Raiders will be chasing points this week. With the lack of a run game, Smith will be slinging the ball this week.
