When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.
Jack Bech Scouting Profile
Strengths
Bech is one of the few receivers who has thrived in multiple locations during his college career. In his freshman season at LSU, he led the team with 43 receptions. And in his senior season this past year, he racked up over 1,000 receiving yards in just 12 games. He has decent size and is a tough, hard-nosed football player. His strength helps him break tackles. He is also good at tracking the deep ball downfield.
Weaknesses
The biggest issue for Bech is his lack of top-end speed. At the NFL level, he’ll have trouble getting past the secondary. His ability as a run blocker is also a question mark, as he’s often not physical enough or appears unwilling to help. Bech also struggles against press coverage, which is difficult to break without the speed of other receivers in this draft class.
