Best NBA Betting Player Props for Tonight, 4/6
All NBA betting player props odds are taken from BetOnline Sportsbook
Ayo Dosunmu Under 3.5 Assists (-113)
The Bulls will be at a rest disadvantage tonight against a Boston Celtics team that has not played since Sunday. The backdrop automatically lends one to lean towards playing under on NBA player props totals, especially for someone like Ayo Dosunmu who has seen his playing time fluctuate recently.
Although he is technically listed atop the depth chart at point guard, Dosunmu has played less than 30 minutes in two of the team’s last three games. Even more concerning is the fact that the rookie only logged 24 minutes in two of the last three contests. While Dosunmu has averaged 3.3 assists per game on the season overall, he has failed to achieve this mark as well as the NBA betting total of 3.5 in three of the last five games.
Despite numerous Bulls players, including Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso, being listed on the injury report, virtually all have been given “probable” designations for tonight’s game. Thus, Dosunmu doesn’t figure to see any additional playing time as a result of teammates being sidelined. Considering that tonight’s matchup comes against a Celtics team that ranks atop the league in defensive efficiency, generating offense could prove to be a real struggle for the Bulls in general.

Tomas Satoransky Under 6.5 Assists (-127)
Although he sits atop the Washington Wizards depth chart at the point guard position, Tomas Satoransky has only played more than 25 minutes once in the last five games. In fact, he has failed to be on the floor for more than 20 minutes in any of the team’s last three contests. Despite the limited playing time, the gifted passer has maintained his high assist rate.
Entering Wednesday’s road clash against the Atlanta Hawks, Satoransky has a streak of six straight games exceeding the NBA player props line of 6.5 with seven assists or more. In two of the three games in which he played 25 minutes or more, Satoransky finished with double-digit assist totals. He had seven helpers just last night in only 20 minutes of action.
While the Hawks actually are a bottom-five team in terms of defensive efficiency this season, it’s simply impossible to trust that Satoransky will see any sort of substantial playing time. With Ish Smith and Raul Neto also in the fold, the tanking Wizards have been utilizing a three-point guard rotation. While the 30-year-old has proven that playing time is not vital to him exceeding this NBA picks line, no one can defy logic forever.

Nicolas Batum Over 6.5 Points (-120)
Although Los Angeles Clippers forward Nicolas Batum does not take a ton of shots on a per-game basis, the NBA player props line of 6.5 points is pretty easily obtained. For a player like Batum who can knock down the three-pointer, seven points can be achieved quickly. On the season, he has averaged 8.4 points per game. This mark that comes in nearly two full tallies above tonight’s NBA picks total.
The 33-year-old has certainly been achieving this mark recently. Batum has topped the scoring prop threshold in five of his last seven games played. Although he fell short in the Clippers’ most recent encounter, it was barely a miss as he scored exactly six points. The return of a superstar like Paul George to the lineup has undoubtedly helped to boost the overall offensive potential of all L.A. players, Batum included.
Tonight, the Clips take on the best team in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns. Although this shapes up as a poor matchup on paper given the Suns’ strong defensive play, fatigue could play a factor. While Phoenix will be playing for the second time in as many nights, the Clippers have been idle since Sunday. Knowing that the Suns could opt to sit any number of players for the second game of the back-to-back only furthers the incentive to bet this prop over.
