Drew Eubanks Over 1.5 Assists (-113)
Who doesn’t love the opportunity to bet the over on total assists NBA picks for centers? Well, we have the chance to do just that tonight with Portland Trail Blazers big man, Drew Eubanks. The sad season continues for Portland as they remain without the services of both Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons and Jusuf Nurkic. Bettors can also add Josh Hart to the list of Blazers who will miss Monday night’s NBA betting tilt against the equally as lowly Detroit Pistons.
With the depth chart severely depleted, Portland will take offensive production in any way possible tonight. Although Eubanks did not record a single assist in yesterday’s blowout loss to Indiana, he notably dished out two or more in each of the four games prior. Two dimes are all that would be needed to exceed tonight’s NBA player props total of 1.5.
On the season overall, Eubanks is averaging exactly 1.5 helpers per contest. There certainly figure to be opportunities to record multiple assists tonight. In addition to the depleted state of the Blazers lineup, the opponent Pistons have allowed 111.0 points per 100 possessions on the season. That ranks 24th in the NBA in defensive efficiency.

Mike Conley Over 13.5 Assists (-103)
From a shooting percentage standpoint, Mike Conley has been absolutely abysmal over the last month. After appearing to snap out of the funk with a spectacular 10-13 shooting effort and 29 points scored last Monday, Conley went on to hit only six of 23 field goal attempts over the next two games. From an NBA betting perspective, the recent struggles of the Utah Jazz point guard have created a buy-low window of opportunity on his props.
The team opted to rest Conley yesterday, a move that ensures he will be fresh for tonight’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets. Although Conley’s shooting woes have seen him fail to exceed either mark in five of his last seven games played, he is still averaging 13.4 points per game on the full season. Thus, tonight’s NBA player props total of 13.5 falls right in line with his standard production.
In addition to the opposing Nets ranking in the bottom half of the NBA in overall defensive efficiency, Brooklyn has also been the worst team at defending the point guard position this season. Specifically from a scoring standpoint, opposing PGs have averaged 23.2 points per game against the Nets. This marks the fourth-highest average any team has allowed to the position.

Precious Achiuwa Under 14.5 Points (-108)
If there’s one thing that we should know by now with Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse, it’s that no one outside of the team’s core is guaranteed significant playing time on a given night. So, while center Precious Achiuwa has played over 30 minutes in three of the team’s last four games, it would not come as a surprise to see that allotment greatly reduced this evening.
Achiuwa has notably scored in double figures in seven straight games. Furthermore, he has successfully eclipsed tonight’s NBA player props total of 14.5 points in each of the last two contests. Achiuwa dwarfed his per-game average of 8.8 points on the season by scoring 21 in 34 minutes on Sunday against Philadelphia.
Although the Raptors run a fairly tight-knit rotation in general, the simple fact that tonight’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls is the second game in as many days could result in Achiuwa’s minutes declining. It’s also worth pointing out that playing time does not make the former Memphis Tiger a lock to go over the NBA betting points total. His shooting percentages are prone to fluctuating on a game-by-game basis. It was just last week that he only scored 10 points on 5-13 shooting despite playing 33 minutes.
