After beating the brakes off of the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1, the Philadelphia Eagles kept shooting themselves in the foot in their Week 2 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Eight penalties and a low third-down efficiency led to them putting up only 11 points. If there’s a positive to take away from this game, it’s that the defense showed up yet again, allowing only 17 points. They did, however, suffer some serious injuries, per usual, and it will be tough to overcome them going forward.
The Cowboys are coming off a three-point win over the Los Angeles Chargers in a game they probably shouldn’t have won. Still, they did, and now they begin their three-game homestand. As mentioned above, this will be Prescott’s first game back in the building since his leg injury last October. The crowd is going to lose their mind for their franchise quarterback, and that energy should hopefully spill over to the defensive side of the football as well. They also have a few players out tonight, but they are still the NFL betting favorite at home.
