The Atlanta Hawks defended homecourt in Game 3. Can they do it again to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series? This NBA betting preview for the Knicks vs Hawks NBA Playoffs matchup will provide game info, betting trends, odds and a prediction for Game 4 of this series.

New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks Betting Preview and Prediction | NBA Playoffs

NBA Eastern Conference Second Round NBA Playoffs Game 4 (ATL leads 2-1)
New York Knicks (41-31, 16-20 Away) vs. Atlanta Hawks (41-31, 25-11 Home)
    Date: Sunday, May 30, 2021
    Time:
    1 pm EST
    Venue:
State Farm Arena – Atlanta, GA
    Coverage:
    ABC

The Atlanta Hawks did not have any incredible individual performances in Game 3, but they didn’t need any. Not when six players score in double figures. Any time the Knicks seemed like they were gaining momentum, the Hawks answered and made the Knicks start all over again. Trae Young has made the next step in his game and is learning to trust his teammates in the NBA Playoffs. Young scored 21 points, but he also dished out 14 assists. The trust Young has in his teammates, and their ability to answer the call, makes the Hawks a nightmare matchup for the Knicks.

The New York Knicks have seen a complete collapse from the sources of their regular season success. Derrick Rose has stepped up, but Julius Randle has all but disappeared in this series. Randle has yet to score more than 15 points in this series. In Game 3, he scored just 14 points on 2-15 shooting. It is clear the Hawks are playing “Jordan Rules” and intending to stop the All-Star and make the rest of the Knicks beat them.
