On Sunday, home teams were 10-1 heading into the SNF game. This comes in a year where there is virtually no home-field advantage due to the lack of fans. In other words, NFL Week 10 continued with the craziness.

1. Hail Murray!

Josh Allen led the Bills to a 14-point lead, but Kyler Murray led the Cardinals back, going on a 17-point run. Allen put together a three-minute touchdown drive to take the lead with 34 seconds left. Three plays later, Murray brought the Cardinals to the Bills’ 43. Murray was flushed to his left and threw up a Hail Mary to the end zone. Swarmed by defenders, DeAndre Hopkins came down with the ball and the Cardinals win.

2. Prater Ends it From Deep

Alex Smith had his first start since his leg injury. He went 38-for-55 for 390 yards, and he led the Washington Football Team on a 21-point comeback to tie the game late. With 16 seconds to go, Matthew Stafford led the Lions into deep field goal range. Matt Prater hit a 59-yard field goal as the clock expired. This was the first time that Smith has thrown for 300+ yards in back-to-back games.

3. Drew Brees Goes Down

The 49ers jumped to a 10-0 lead on top of the Saints. The Saints then went on a 27-0 run, including 17 of those in the first half. Drew Brees was taken down hard on a sack. While he finished the first half, Jameis Winston took over and played the entire second half for the Saints. The 49ers turned the ball over four times, as they fell to 4-5.

4. Davante Adams in the Record Books

The Packers turned the ball over twice and still beat the Jake Luton-led Jaguars. Aaron Rodgers had three combined touchdowns, one of which was a 78-yard pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling. For the Jaguars, Keelan Cole had a 91-yard punt return touchdown. Cole also had the only other Jaguars touchdown of the day, when he reeled in a 12-yard pass from Luton. Davante Adams had 66 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Adams became the third player in the Super Bowl era with 700+ receiving yards, and 9+ receiving touchdowns over their first seven games in a season. The only other players to do it? Hall of Famers Marvin Harrison (1999) and Randy Moss (2007).

5. Brady Dominates

Tom Brady had a big game against the Panthers. He threw for 341 yards, and three touchdowns, as well as having a rushing touchdown. Tampa Bay dominated time of possession by 13 minutes, running for for 210 yards. Ronald Jones led them with 192 rushing yards. He had a 98-yard rushing touchdown. He became the fourth player to ever have a rushing touchdown of at least 98 yards.

6. Colts Take AFC South Lead

The Colts took the AFC South lead on Thursday Night Football. The Titans were up at the half, but the Colts put up 21 second-half points. The story of the game was special teams. Stephen Gostkowski missed a field goal, E.J. Speed shanked a punt and had one blocked and returned for a touchdown. Philip Rivers continued to play well, throwing for 308 yards and a touchdown. There were no turnovers in the game.

7. Windy Day in Cleveland

The Browns and Texans faced off in Cleveland in brutal conditions. Similarly to the Raiders-Browns game, there was gales of wins and barely any points. There were only three points heading into the fourth quarter. The difference in the game was the Browns’ rushing attack. Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb combined for 230 out of the 231 rushing yards the Browns had. Chubb had a breakaway run for 59 yards. He intentionally stepped out of bounds instead of scoring a touchdown, while effectively ending the game.

8. NFC East (Ugh)

The Giants and Eagles squared off in New York. Neither quarterback threw a touchdown, but there were five rushing touchdowns, including a 34 yarder by Daniel Jones, and a 56-yard run by Boston Scott. There were 18 penalties in the game and no turnovers. Teams in the NFC East have 10 combined wins. Eight of those wins have been against divisional teams.

9. Steelers Advance to 9-0

The Steelers cruised to a commanding victory over the Bengals. Ben Roethlisberger threw all four of the Steelers’ touchdowns. Joe Burrow threw for 213 yards and a touchdown. T.J. Watt had two sacks in the win.

10. NFC West Tightens

Russell Wilson had a tough day in Los Angeles. He three two interceptions and no touchdowns. Jared Goff didn’t have an interception or a touchdown, but he threw for 302 yards. The Rams had three rushing touchdowns in the win. Both the Rams and Seahawks are now 6-3.
