NFL Playoff Picture | NFC Playoff Standings
The NFC Playoff Picture has a bunch of moving parts, with several teams still legitimately in the mix to make the postseason. While the route to the playoffs is through winning the division for some teams, the Detroit Lions are a team that can make the playoffs through the Wild Card or by winning the division.

The fourth seed, however, is fully up in the air. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently have it (7-7), but the Carolina Panthers have the same record and are hoping to steal the NFC South.
The other two NFC Wild Card teams come from the NFC West. The Seattle Seahawks have no worries, sitting at 11-3. The San Francisco 49ers have a 10-4 record, and they would clinch a playoff berth with another win.

This weekend, the NFL’s oldest rivalry will take the stage once again, with the Packers traveling to the Bears. The winner of this game will have a major leg up in the division, and winning the division means hosting a playoff game. Clearly, a playoff game in Green Bay would be a great advantage to have.

The final week of the season presents a matchup against a Minnesota Vikings team that would love to play “spoiler.”
