These are four of my favorite lower-owned streaming RB options for Week 16. If you are unsure where these three rank in relation to your current roster, you can consult our Week 16 fantasy rankings, which will be updated throughout the week.

QB Fantasy Streamers for Week 16
WR Fantasy Streamers for Week 16
TE Fantasy Streamers for Week 16

Mike Boone (0.2%) or Alexander Mattison (27.3%) vs GB

In Week 16, the Vikings face one of the best matchups for fantasy RBs. The Packers have allowed at least 100 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown in four of their last five games. With Dalvin Cook suffering a shoulder injury in Week 15, it is unclear of whether or not he will be suiting up for the team this week. If he is to miss time, either Alexander Mattison or Mike Boone will be the primary ball carrier. Mattison missed Week 15 and it is still unclear whether he will be ready for this week, but so far this season, he has five games with over 50 rushing yards. With Mattison and Cook out of the lineup, Boone rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns against the chargers. With so many injuries to monitor, it is worth adding both Boone and Mattison to your roster, if you have any flexibility. Make sure that you are monitoring this situation closely all week.

Adrian Peterson vs NYG (55.8%)

Without Derrius Guice in the lineup, Adrian Peterson will be the primary ball carrier yet again. Peterson has had at least 66 rushing yards and a touchdown in three straight games. In Week 16, he faces the Giants, who have been one of the best matchups for fantasy RBs. The Giants have allowed at least 150 rushing yards or a touchdown in eight of their games this season. The Giants have also given up multiple rushing touchdowns in twice this season, so the opportunity for a big game is there for Peterson. The Redskins are also favored in this matchup, so Peterson is likely to get a lot of touches late in the game to run out the clock.

Boston Scott vs DAL (8.3%)

Without Jordan Howard in the lineup, Boston Scott has made the most of increased opportunity on the field. Over the past two weeks, Scott has rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown. In addition to his strength in the rushing game, Scott has become a primary target in the passing game, catching all 13 of his targets for 108 yards. With the health situation at the WR position, Scott could see plenty of opportunity even if Howard is back for Week 16.
