The NASCAR Cup Series returns to the dirt for the second time at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Food City Dirt Race. This time around, it will be under the lights and on Easter Sunday. It is the first time that NASCAR has raced on Easter since 1989.
The half-mile track will be covered with dirt for the Cup Series’ only race on the dirt this season. NASCAR had some problems with this race last year after it rained Saturday and Sunday postponing both the Truck Series and Cup Series to Monday. Hopefully, the weather cooperates this year.
