Projected Win Total

The Ravens over/under is currently at 11.5 wins, after they went 14-2 last year. Baltimore had a historic offensive season last year, and they will likely not be able to hit that incredible mark again. That said, the Ravens didn’t lose any big playmakers on offense. Because of possible regression and some question marks on the offensive line, they see their projected win total drop from last season, but stay in the double digits.

Strength of Schedule

SOS is measured by calculating the fantasy points allowed by each team’s opponents to determine who has the easiest and most difficult fantasy schedules (rank #1 has the easiest schedule).

Passing Game

Despite the naysayers, Lamar Jackson dominated with his arm last season, as he became the second unanimous MVP, and the second quarterback to have multiple games with a perfect quarterback rating in the same season. While the strength of schedule for the wide receivers isn’t promising, Jackson’s rushing abilities give his receivers an edge.

Jackson loved throwing to the tight ends last season, especially Mark Andrews. With Hayden Hurst being traded, there is an opening for other players to fill that void. Andrews is currently ranked as the ADP third-best tight end. But with the absence of Hurst, Nick Boyle is also an intriguing option for a late-round steal. Jackson did struggle last season with looking away from his first read, but due to his work ethic, that will likely be fixed.

Look out for “Hollywood” Brown, who many are predicting will have a breakout second year. This will be his first healthy offseason, after working through an injury last year.

Running Game

RB: Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, J.K. Dobbins, Justice Hill

The Ravens heartily broke rushing records left and right last season. Despite that, it’s tough to invest much in a running back for fantasy, due to their committee approach. Additionally, long-time Ravens right guard Marshal Yanda, who was a perennial All-Pro, retired. Matt Skura got injured against the Rams and, while he is working his way back, the question mark at offensive line remains.

But even with the question in the trench, Jackson will relieve some of the pressure off of the line. Additionally, Greg Roman, the Ravens offensive coordinator, is creative in the running game and he will undoubtedly have a couple tricks up his sleeve to have another dominant rushing attack.
