RK-Bro Promo: They are challenging the Usos to a title unification match, but the Street Profits are in the way first.
RK-Bro def. The Street Profits to retain the RAW Tag Team Championships.
Theory Promo: He’ll prove why he’s the future of WWE against Cody Rhodes tonight.

Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest ends in a brawl as Judgement Day lays out Balor and AJ Styles.
Chad Gable promises a DNA test to Kevin Owens next week for Ezekiel.
Cedric Alexander attempts to join MVP and Omos, but Bobby Lashley attacks several security guards and Alexander to scare off everyone.
Alexa Bliss Returns, Bliss def. Sonya Deville
Kevin Owens‘ older brother “Ken Owens” comes out to confront Ezekiel, and reveals himself to be Kevin Owens in an attack on Ezekiel.
Asuka is promised a title shot backstage, Becky Lynch interrupts and the two insult each other.
Veer Mahan def. Frank Loman, father of triplets.
Cody Rhodes def. Theory via DQ after Seth Rollins attacks him, curb-stomping him on the announce table to end the segment.

WWE RAW Highlights From 5/9
Tag Teams Back On Track
I wish we could’ve just gone here immediately, but we seem to have gotten back to the tag team title unification storyline this week on WWE RAW. RK-Bro cut another great promo about losing the battle against the Bloodline at Backlash, but they were sure on winning the war. A confrontation with the Usos is now set for Friday, but first, we got a great match between the Street Profits and RK-Bro to open the show as well.
And all the messiness of the story to this point aside, I was in doubt about who would win here to take the belts with them. It shows just how good the tag division is in WWE currently. I’m still holding out hope that the Street Profits could make it a triple threat match for the new unified titles at some point as well.
Ken Owens Keeps It In the Family
I’ve been so engaged with the Ezekiel storyline, and somehow this stupid concept hasn’t gotten old yet. This week, not only were we promised a Maury-style DNA test next week to prove Ezekiel is Elias, but also we saw the debut of Ken Owens. Ken Owens came down to confront Ezekiel, and was of course Kevin Owens in his best George Clooney wig and “Just For Men Touch of Grey” beard as well.
This segment was a smash hit, from the genuine belief of Ezekiel in Ken, Owens’ inability to keep his cool, and the ongoing implications that we may somehow get an Elias run-in to help Ezekiel. I have no idea how WWE is going to stick this landing, but the story has stayed a must-watch and, at this point, it’s become clear that Kevin Owens can make anything work.
WWE RAW Lowlights From 5/9
Fear for Veer
Veer Mahan is on thin ice, currently. I like the running gag of increasingly sympathetic local good guys he demolishes, but I think the gimmick is getting over instead of Veer. Tonight, we got a hilariously cheesy intro for Frank Loman, who refused to lose because he had triplets to feed at home. Again, I’ve found these cartoonish backstories funny in the last couple of weeks, but the crowd still seems apathetic towards Veer. It’s a good premise, but I’m not sure that Veer is ever going to be able to grow out of it in a meaningful way.
WWE Headlines
WrestleMania Backlash provides a pretty decent night of wrestling, headlined by Ronda Rousey beating Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship and Rhea Ripley joining Judgement Day to help Edge and Damian Priest.
Roman Reigns teases a possible absence from WWE in a promo following a house show over the weekend.
