The Philadelphia 76ers were unable to pull off the sweep in their first round matchup against the Wizards. Joel Embiid suffered an injury to his knee late in the first quarter of Game 4. To pretend that his injury did not have a role in why the Wizards were able to escape with a victory would be foolish thinking. As of writing, Embiid is considered doubtful to play in this game.
During Game 4, Davis Bertans also left the game. Bertans suffered a calf strain and will be out the rest of the way. The loss of Bertans will be critical for the Wizards, who are already largely outgunned in this matchup. Russell Westbrook is listed as questionable to play, but we know he would need to be missing limbs to sit out.
Expect the 76ers to win at home with or without Embiid in Game 5.
