The return of Kyler Murray brought hope to both Arizona Cardinals fans and Marquise Brown fantasy football owners. However, that hope quickly turned to disappointment, as Brown scored a season-low 3.8 PPR fantasy points. Now, the question on many fantasy owners’ minds is whether or not Brown will rebound in Week 11 against the Houston Texans.
Will Marquise Brown Rebound in Fantasy Football Week 11?
The recent struggles between Marquise Brown and Kyler Murray’s chemistry have actually dated back to last year, and in their last three consecutive games. During this stretch, Brown has failed to score a touchdown, surpass 70 receiving yards, or achieve more than 12 PPR fantasy points. In Week 10, he even found himself out-targeted by Michael Wilson and Rondale Moore, with a season-low four targets.
There is a bright spot in the matchup against the struggling Texans defense, which has allowed over 85 yards to five different wide receivers in the last four games, including last week’s standout performances by Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd both having over 117 receiving yards. However, there’s a contrasting statistic. The Texans have allowed only four touchdowns to wide receivers this season, the second-fewest, with half of those touchdowns occurring last week.

Despite the recent points surrendered by the Texans to wide receivers, exercising patience may be key as the Kyler Murray and Marquise Brown chemistry needs time to reignite. Even though this matchup presents an opportunity for a rebound, the concern lies in the potential for Wilson or Moore to overshadow Brown. He is a flex play for certain, as his matchup gives him very high potential for those who need it, but he does have a very low floor.
