When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
The biggest strength for the Michigan alum is his size. Will Johnson has the size to match up with any receiver at the next level and has decent speed to pair with that as well. He has incredible ball skills as well and does a great job breaking on routes. Johnson has also shown good feet and agility which allows him to stick to receivers in man coverage on deep routes.
Weaknesses
Although being a ballhawk is a great attribute for a cornerback, it can sometimes come with some negatives. While Johnson is good at sticking with receivers when his eyes are on them, he can sometimes overcommit and be lost on double moves trying to make a play. He also isn’t the greatest tackler and will need to improve on that at the next level. Johnson also isn’t too keen on helping out in the run game at times, which will need to change at the next level.
