The Western Conference is loaded with talent on every roster, which has made for a lot of awesome moments in the early part of the season. Despite some teams struggling, there’s still something for every one of these squads to be thankful for.

Denver Nuggets: The Deepest Roster in the NBA

This Nuggets roster has so much talent at every position. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray give them a star duo to lead the way while a young stud in Michael Porter Jr. is at the end of the rotation due to so much talent ahead of them.

They also have other good bench players such as Monte Morris and Malik Beasley who are starting-caliber players. The depth this team has will keep them in contention in the Western Conference, for years to come.

Utah Jazz: Donovan Mitchell is A Young Superstar

Donovan Mitchell is one of the bright young stars in the game today. The Jazz also have other good players that make this team a championship contender, but their success revolves around Mitchell and how he plays.

He has a chance to turn this team into a threat to compete for a title this season. Many consider them a fringe contender and a playoff lock, but if Mitchell can take the next step then maybe they can push.

Minnesota Timberwolves: Andrew Wiggins is Taking The Next Step

Andrew Wiggins has started this season much better than each of the past few seasons. The hype has always been there for him, but up until now, he hadn’t been able to put it together.

Andrew Wiggins is averaging 25.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists—all career highs. Is this real?

Wiggins is at least a much better playmaker. He’s improved his shot selection and running more pick-and-roll in a system with spacing.

So far this season he’s been a true young star and if he keeps it up it’ll give this team a true superstar duo to build around with him and Karl Anthony-Towns leading the way. If these two can keep it up,

Oklahoma City Thunder: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is A Special Talent

The Oklahoma City Thunder have gone through big changes recently as they traded away both Russell Westbrook and Paul George this offseason. They do have some good young talent to build forward though with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading the way.

Darius Bazley is another good player but SGA is the guy leading the way for this team. He is a young star at the PG position and he has a chance to be an all-star in the near future.

Portland Trail Blazers: Damian Lillard And CJ McCollum Are Sensational

The Trail Blazers have really struggled to start the season and a lot of it has to do with injuries. They’re without Jusuf Nurkic for the majority of the season and many other players have missed time as well.

Lillard and McCollum form one of the best backcourts in the NBA and that gives this team hope that they can turn it around. It’s been a struggle for Portland, but don’t give up on them quite yet.

Los Angeles Lakers: The Best Duo In The NBA

Lebron James and Anthony Davis are both to an amazing start to the season and the team has been very good as a result. They’re currently the best team of the floor and are playing at a high level on both ends.

It’s still very early in the season, but they have shown how good this team can be. If the role players continue to play at a high level this team will be playing into late May and possibly even June.

Los Angeles Clippers: Steve Balmer’s Energy

Steve Balmer has an excitement about him that represents the dynamic of this Clippers team. They have a loaded roster and are considered by many to be the favorite to win the title.

He has helped this franchise make big moves over the past couple of years most notably this summer when they brought in Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The battle for LA is going to be epic and hopefully, we get that matchup in the playoffs.

    Phoenix Suns: Monty Williams Success

Monty Williams has helped right the ship in Phoenix. They are playing good basketball despite some injuries as well as Deandre Ayton’s 25-game suspension.

The talent on this roster is fitting together and it has translated to wins and some even feel this team can compete for a playoff berth this season. Even if they do fall off at some point this season the future is still very bright for the Suns.

Sacramento Kings: Their Talented Young Core

The Sacramento Kings have a lot of good young players on this roster to build around. With DeAaron Fox, Buddy Hield, and Marvin Bagley they have a good core that they can go forward with.

    https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1192977502781575168?s=20

They’ve had some struggles to start the season, but they’ve started playing better and shown the talent that they have. They might not be able to get into the playoffs this season, but with this roster they have they will do so very soon.

Golden State Warriors: The Past Three Championships

The Warriors’ struggles this season should make them value their past championships that much more. Obviously this isn’t the season they envisioned, but they’ve had a fantastic past few seasons that they should truly appreciate.

Even though they are going to be one of the worst teams in the league this season they will have a chance to bounce back next season. With a top pick likely coming in the draft and there stars getting healthy they will be right back in the title picture next year.

    James Harden Edit

    Southwest Division

    Houston Rockets: James Harden’s Greatness

James Harden is an unreal talent that is extremely difficult to defend. His ability to make plays for himself and others has helped this team be one of the best few teams in the league in recent years.

The way he has played has frustrated some opposing fans, but the impact he has on this Rockets squad is unreal. As long as he’s playing at a high level this team will have a chance to beat whoever they’re facing.

Dallas Mavericks: Luka Magic is For Real

Luka Doncic is playing at an insane level so far this season. He is a sure all-star and a possible All-NBA player as well. The Mavericks are playing at a high level with him leading the way.

    https://twitter.com/NBA/status/1199397407081017346?s=20

If he continues to play like this the sky is the limit for this team going forward. Doncic will be an MVP candidate very soon if he keeps up the current progression path he is on.

New Orleans Pelicans: Brandon Ingram’s Emergence

Brandon Ingram has been playing at a high level for the Pelicans and is playing like the young star many thought he could be. During his time with the Lakers, he was good, but he’s taken it to another level.

If he can continue to improve then he will be an all-star in the near future. This team still has a long way to go to get towards contending, but the young talent is for real and Ingram is one of those main guys.

San Antonio Spurs: Gregg Popovich’s Success

The Spurs have struggled to start this season and it seems as if their playoff streak might finally come to an end. That should make the fans be even more thankful for the past success and all coach Pop has done for this organization.

It’s still too early to count out this team for sure, but they could be looking for a new head coach to lead the rebuild if things keep going south. Popovich is one of if not the best NBA coach ever and the Spurs fans should be thankful for him while he’s still there.

Memphis Grizzlies: Their Exciting Young Core

The Grizzlies have a lot of good young talent on this squad with Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. leading the way. Other guys such as Dillon Brooks and Brandon Clarke have also shown they can be key pieces for this team going forward.

The young talent they have on this roster makes up one of the best young cores in the league. They have a chance to truly become special in the future if they can continue to build and put it all together.
