A big game is knocking at the door, and with respect to the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, which will be playing later that night, another anticipated event is scheduled to begin on game day, the Great American Rescue Bowl, continuing the tradition of taking place on the same day of Super Bowl; and before counterpart, Puppy Bow which will kick off after that.

The Venue, Date, Start Time, and TV:

  • Venue: Geico Stadium, New York
  • Date: Sunday, February 12, 2023
  • Start Time: 10:30 am ET
  • TV: Great American Family Channel
  • Streams: OolaTV

Created after the Hallmark Channel canceled the ‘Kitten Bowl’ event in early 2022, the new event moved to the Great American Family channel and, unlike previous years that were focused on felines, will highlight adorable qualities of not only adoptable kittens and cats, but also puppies, and dogs across the United States, particularly contestants rescued from West Virginia, South Carolina, and Antigua in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

Since 2014, the event has helped fifty thousand kittens to get their homes, and the number will increase when this year’s event takes place this Sunday. Cute kitties will be seen in the event, and the best part of the event is that all of those will be available for adoption, a golden opportunity for viewers to welcome one of those in their lives.
