Week 9 Fantasy Football Streamers at TE

Eric Ebron, PIT (vs DAL)

I’ve talked extensively about the hype surrounding Eric Ebron. This is the week the Ebron explodes. Pittsburgh should be able to run all over this horrible Dallas defense. When Pittsburgh gets the run game going, the biggest benefactor for receiving is Ebron, who is a receiving tight end. Ebron should see a number of targets this week, as Pittsburgh should be able to run play action and catch the Dallas linebacker cheating the run. Seeing six targets last week, Ebron faces a Dallas team who gives up 13.3 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. Look for Ebron to catch a couple crossing routes that turn into 10-to-15-yard gains.

Greg Olsen, SEA (vs BUF)

Assuming that Greg Olsen plays this week, he is a major candidate for a streamer option. Against a tough San Francisco defense, Olsen saw four targets. Facing an overrated Bills defense, he should see close to double that number. It’s likely that eyes will be on both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett this week, which will leave matchup problems when trying to guard Olsen. If you are in need of veteran tight end, roll the dice with Olsen here, as he faces a defense who allows the third-most points to opposing tight ends.

Albert Okwuegbunam, DEN (vs ATL)

Albert O (I’m going to refrain from typing his whole name) has quietly become a part of this Broncos’ offense. Denver will likely be behind in this game, which will lead to a lot of passing situations. Albert O, who has chemistry with Drew Lock, playing together in college, should see a couple of looks this game. He is a matchup nightmare in the red zone and will look to duplicate his touchdown catch of last week. Atlanta has a terrible defense and, if Lock and the Broncos can get Albert O going this game, they may have a dynamic one-two punch at tight end, with him and Noah Fant.

Albert O is an interesting streamer that is almost definitely available in your league.
