Week 4 NFL DFS Picks for FanDuel

Quarterbacks

Josh Allen ($8,500)

Josh Allen got it done in Week 3, scoring 37.22 FanDuel points and finished as the QB1. Now, he gets a matchup against a poor Texans secondary that has yet to play a QB of Allen’s caliber. With Buffalo’s 14 red zone trips thus far, Allen is a strong stacking option with Diggs or Sanders.

Jalen Hurts ($7,900)

The quarterback opposite Patrick Mahomes will always be in play for DFS. This is also helped by the fact that the Chiefs’ defense has been terrible as of late. The Chiefs vs Eagles game holds a slate-high 54.5 over/under, so look for Hurts to get it done through the air and on the ground. With DeVonta Smith underpriced ($5,900), this is my favorite stack of the week for tournaments.

Other Options: Kyler Murray ($8,200), Matthew Stafford ($7,800), Dak Prescott ($7,700)

Running Backs

Derrick Henry ($10,200)

Even as the most expensive player on the slate, Derrick Henry maintains his position as an essential roster play. With AJ Brown and Julio Jones out for the week, the Titans will rely heavily on the run. In a game where the Titans are favored against the Jets, I project Henry to go north of 30 touches.

Jonathan Taylor ($6,600)

Jonathan Taylor’s stock has tanked so far this year. After opening the season at a salary of $7,900, Taylor is now priced at a discount. In Week 3, he concerningly played fewer snaps than Nyheim Hines in a game against the Titans. This weekend, Taylor gets a date against Miami, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs thus far. Consider JT strictly as a tournament play whose high ceiling is sacrificed by his low floor.

Chuba Hubbard ($6,300)

With Christian McCaffrey going down with a hamstring injury, the Panthers turn to rookie Chuba Hubbard to take in a majority of the workload. In a matchup against Dallas that holds a 51.5 over/under, Hubbard should get plenty of scoring opportunities. At just $6,300, Hubbard will be one of the best value plays at his position.

Other Options: Alvin Kamara ($9,000), Aaron Jones ($7,400), Mike Davis ($5,400)

Wide Receivers

Davante Adams ($8,100)

Davante Adams bounced back from a mediocre Week 1, combining for 253 yards and 20 receptions in his last two games. After coming off his record-breaking season, it doesn’t sit right with me seeing him as just the third-most-expensive receiver this week. With Adams now second in the league with a 37.4% target share, I’ll play him with confidence despite the matchup.

Deebo Samuel ($6,900)

Deebo Samuel has been electric to begin the season, as he’s second in the league with 334 receiving yards. He holds a 31.9% target share in this 49ers offense, which could raise even higher considering George Kittle’s Week 4 status is up in the air. To cap it off, Deebo gets a matchup against struggling Seahawks’ cornerback Tre Flowers in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Odell Beckham Jr. ($6,600)

In his first game back from a torn ACL, Odell Beckham saw 29.0% of Mayfield’s pass attempts despite playing just 64.2% of offensive snaps. With Jarvis Landry out once again, Beckham will be forced to take on a bigger role in this week’s game against Minnesota. The Vikings’ secondary has been terrible in the early season, so I’m sure the Browns will want to capitalize on this matchup.

DeVonta Smith ($5,900)

DeVonta Smith has been mediocre in his last two games, but he gets an opportunity to bounce back in a dream matchup against the Chiefs. Gameflow wise, Smith will get peppered with targets from Jalen Hurts as they play catch-up to Mahomes. At a price of just $5,900, he is an affordable play alongside Hurts or a Chiefs stack.

Other Options: Tyreek Hill ($8,200), Stefon Diggs ($8,000), Calvin Ridley ($7,200), Allen Robinson II ($6,400)

Tight Ends

Travis Kelce ($8,200)

In Week 3, Travis Kelce logged 11 targets and seven receptions, surpassing 100 receiving yards for the second week in a row. Despite the performance, Kelce’s salary has dropped from $8,500 to $8,200 for this week’s high-scoring tilt against the Eagles. The tight end position is looking thin, so if you have the salary, lock Kelce into your lineups this week.

Tyler Higbee ($5,900)

With an over/under of 54.5, we’ll want to target the fantasy-friendly Rams vs Cardinals game. With Cooper Kupp being so expensive and Robert Woods’ usage tanking, Higbee is a strong option. In an already dry tight end position, Higbee is a perfect way to gain exposure to the Rams’ offense without paying up for Kupp.

Other Options: George Kittle ($6,700), Noah Fant ($5,700)
