With Week 4 on the horizon, you are probably looking ahead to what you can do to upgrade your fantasy roster. If you were one of those unlucky fantasy managers who owns Jayden Daniels or Caleb Williams, or you are tired of the poor play from Drake Maye or Justin Herbert and are looking for fantasy football QB streamers, I have a few options for you. When looking at streaming players, I am primarily looking at specific matchups, and given the slate this week, there are many games that can be exploited.
We have highlighted all of the top fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Week 4, but that’s not necessarily the list of the best players to add and start this weekend. Now that we have another week of information in the fantasy football sphere, there are several players that we can look at on the waiver wire to help our fantasy teams. Below we’ll cover three options for Week 4 fantasy football quarterback streamers.

Fantasy Football Week 4 QB Streamers
Daniel Jones, Colts at WAS (24.9% owned)
While the Indianapolis Colts have struggled to regain that magic that we saw at the beginning of last season, that is due in large part to the brutal start of the schedule. Going against Baltimore, Kansas City and Houston through the first three weeks has severely limited the potential of the offense as a whole. This has hampered not only Jonathan Taylor and the run game, but also Daniel Jones and the pass game. Things will change this week, though, given the matchup for the Colts.
Indianapolis travels to Washington this week to take on the Commanders. Washington has been one of the worst defenses in terms of giving fantasy points up to opposing quarterbacks this season. Through three weeks, the Commanders have given up 27.4 fantasy points per game to the position. Last week alone, Washington gave up 379 yards and four touchdowns to Sam Darnold. With weapons like Tyler Warren and Josh Downs, Jones has the pieces around him to be your choice among these fantasy football Week 4 streamers.
CJ Stroud, Texans vs DAL (39.3%)
Through three weeks of the NFL season, CJ Stroud ranks as QB17, which is ahead of players like Justin Herbert and Drake Maye (for a full list of rankings, as well as other important stats and trends, check out the FlurrySports Playbook). More than that, though, Stroud ranks fourth in the NFL in passing attempts this season. Without a strong run game, the Texans feel comfortable enough putting the ball into Stroud’s hands to lead the offense.
Much of the Texans’ passing game relies on Nico Collins being healthy. While he missed the Week 3 matchup against the Colts, it appears that Collins is heading in the right direction to play in Week 4. Adding a receiver like Collins adds so much potential to Stroud’s fantasy week, especially with the matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
This season, the Cowboys have given up 23.5 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. While Derrick Henry had a big game last week, we saw Lamar Jackson come away with a big performance last week, including two touchdown passes. CJ Stroud is never a sexy play in fantasy football, but if you are starting Herbert or Maye, the Ohio State alum has been better this season anyways.
Jameis Winston, Giants vs ARI (3.9%)
It is no secret that Jameis Winston has not played good football during his time relieving Jaxson Dart this season. While that is the case, Winston does get another week where he is getting all of the first-team work in practice. The silver lining from last week, though, was that Winston did complete just short of 64% of his passes. The yards and touchdowns will come as he gets more work in the Matt Nagy system. Luckily for Winston and the Giants, the matchup is in front of them to get going.
The Giants take on the Arizona Cardinals this week. While the Cardinals have played competitive football, that has largely come from the offensive side of the ball. The defense has been bad, and it has been especially bad against opposing quarterbacks. This season, the Cardinals have given up 22.6 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. With Malik Nabers, Isaiah Likely and Malachi Fields, Winston has the weapons in front of him to take advantage of the Cardinals matchup and put together a big fantasy week.
