The Week 4 fantasy football streamers at the defense position include the Los Angeles Chargers against rookie Jaxson Dart!
As we approach the conclusion of the first month of the NFL season, it’s worth taking stock of your fantasy football roster and strategy. If you are looking to maximize your points on a weekly basis, streaming defenses is one of the best ways to do so. Sure, it can take a little more effort on the part of managers to pinpoint the best matchup each week. That said, even the best defenses can struggle against potent offenses. Given that so much of the DST position is predicated on forcing turnovers and generating sacks, attacking the best matchups with fantasy football streamers is arguably the most surefire way to achieve regular success.
Whether you are a manager who streams regularly or are looking to adopt the process for improved results moving forward, we’ve got you covered! Below we highlight some of our favorite defense fantasy football streamers that have favorable Week 4 matchups. Be sure to also check out our Week 4 fantasy football rankings!

Week 4 Defense Fantasy Football Streamers
Los Angeles Chargers Fantasy DST (32.5%)
Through three weeks of NFL action, the Chargers are not only undefeated but have gone 3-0 in divisional play at that! Jim Harbaugh has this team rolling, and the defense is no exception. Losing Khalil Mack to injury stings, but Los Angeles still boasts a defense with plenty of talent at all three levels. The Bolts have recorded multiple sacks in all three games to date and have not allowed more than 21 points in any contest. A lack of many turnovers forced has the Chargers ranked 15th in fantasy scoring at the DST position and under-owned as a result heading into Week 4.
Now, as a diehard Ole Miss Rebels fan, naturally, I am pulling for Jaxson Dart to have an amazing NFL career. Unfortunately, he could be in for a long debut. The New York Giants announced that they are benching Russell Wilson in favor of their rookie draftee for Sunday’s matchup against the Chargers. This switch is coming a week earlier than I was anticipating, but the winless Giants are feeling all kinds of pressure. Dart has solid weapons, but there are still concerns surrounding New York’s offensive line. If the Chargers can get pressure, it could lead to rookie debut mistakes, thus making L.A. an excellent fantasy football streamers choice.

Arizona Cardinals Fantasy DST (26.0%)
For those who may not be aware, the Cardinals’ defense is legit in the year 2025. Sure, they allowed a hobbled Mac Jones to lead a late drive for the game-winning field goal last week. That said, Arizona wouldn’t have even had the lead if not for the defense recording a safety. Through three games, the Cardinals have allowed their opponents to score just 13, 21 and 16 points, respectively. They rank 14th in defensive EPA and are settled in the upper half of the league in this metric against both the run and pass. From a fantasy football stats perspective, Arizona has forced three turnovers, recorded five sacks and has a defensive touchdown.
Now, if you are looking to utilize the Cardinals as a fantasy football streamers option this week, note that they will be in action on Thursday night in a home game against the Seattle Seahawks. In recent years, it seems that most NFC West Division games involving the Cardinals tend to be defensive-minded. While Sam Darnold and the Seahawks are off to a solid start, their numbers got skewed dramatically to the positive thanks to a dismantling of New Orleans. Jonathan Gannon’s defense should pose a much stiffer test. It may not be flashy, but the consistency Arizona has shown has them firmly on the radar.
Washington Commanders Fantasy DST (12.6%)
Improving defensively was arguably the top priority for the Commanders coming into the 2025 season. So far, Washington has looked the part in two of three games, albeit against below-average offensive opponents. Last week, the Commanders’ DST notched five sacks to go along with a touchdown. Week 4 offers another opportunity for this defense to show it can hold up on the road and be a strong fantasy football streamers candidate in a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Speaking of the Falcons, what the hell was that last week?! After running the ball down the throats of a solid Minnesota outfit, Atlanta got shut out by a Carolina defense that is considered to be among the worst in the NFL. Michael Penix Jr. looked terrible as the Falcons’ passing attack did very little for the second week in a row. Bijan Robinson is always dangerous, but the Commanders’ defensive strength has been defending the run. They rank seventh in defensive EPA per rush and 12th in yards allowed. Meanwhile, the Falcons have given up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses.
