Week 16 Fantasy Football Streamers at WR

Allen Lazard, GB (vs. TEN)

This game should be a shootout, loaded with fantasy points and streamer plays. With two of the top offenses in the NFL going against each other there should be a lot of points to go around. Aaron Rodgers currently leads the NFL in passing touchdowns. With all of the eyes around Davante Adams, Allen Lazard should see some single coverage this week. Lazard is only owned in 28% of ESPN leagues. At worst, Lazard is the fourth option on this dynamic offense. Against a bad secondary, Lazard should see a couple of long passes this week that can result in not only a fantasy win, but also a tough Packers’ win.

Sammy Watkins, KC (vs. ATL)

Sammy Watkins has a ton of upside this week, making him an interesting streamer. Last week, Watkins saw the second-most air yards per target, in a Chiefs offense that features Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Kansas City should blow out the Falcons here. With the blowout that is inevitable, it makes sense that Andy Reid pulls some of his star players. This benefits Watkins as he isn’t good enough to be a WR1, but he can defiantly make strides at the number two job with his performance this week. Look for Watkins to take over the second half duties and torch a bad Falcons’ secondary.

Darnell Mooney, CHI (vs. JAC)

Darnell Mooney makes my streamer article again this week. He has a great matchup here as once again the Bears are matched up against a team that struggles to cover outside receivers. If Mitch Trubisky can get his feet set and make his reads, he should have a big game. Mooney should benefit from this as he is a big play threat for Chicago. Jacksonville’s safeties will probably be shaded towards Allen Robinson, which opens the door for Mooney to see some one on one coverage. Look for Trubisky to connect with Mooney on a couple deep shots this week.
