Just three more weeks until the conclusion of the 2020 NFL regular season. In a year full of surprises, the NFL has had more than its fair share. There has been movement all throughout the FlurrySports NFL Power Rankings on a weekly basis and Week 15 is no exception. Several spotlight-worth games from this weekend lived up to the billing. Many of the results created chaos in the Week 15 NFL power rankings.

As I put together this week’s rankings, I was inspired to go back and revisit the preseason NFL power rankings. As you might guess, prognosticating how the NFL landscape might look prior to a single snap of football being played yielded a much different picture than where we actually stand today. There will undoubtedly be more shuffling beyond the Week 15 NFL power rankings as well, with the season firmly in its fourth quarter.

Week 15 NFL Power Rankings

1. Kansas City Chiefs

Week 14 Ranking: 1

The Chiefs’ six-point win over the Dolphins on Sunday really wasn’t as close as the final score indicated. It was a sloppy performance from Patrick Mahomes. We may not see him have another three-interception game the rest of his career. Nonetheless, Kansas City is in sole possession of the NFL’s best record and the top seed in the AFC through 14 weeks of play. Glaring weaknesses are essentially non-existent when evaluating the defending Super Bowl champs.

2. Green Bay Packers

Week 14 Ranking: 3

The Packers clinched the NFC North Division title with their win over the Lions on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers continues to have an MVP-caliber season, adding three more touchdowns to an already crazy season-long stat line. The Saints’ loss to the Eagles not only allowed the Packers to move up in the Week 15 NFL power rankings, but Green Bay now owns the top seed in the NFC over New Orleans by virtue of their head-to-head victory.

3. New Orleans Saints

Week 14 Ranking: 2

The Saints stubbed their toe in Philadelphia, dropping their first game without Drew Brees and first since Week 3 at that. Taysom Hill struggled mightily in the first half, and the Saints were still nearly able to rally and pull out a victory. Brees could be back as soon as this Sunday, but Week 16 was reported as more likely. It’ll be interesting to see if losing their grip on the NFC’s top seed changes that game plan any.

4. Buffalo Bills

Week 14 Ranking: 6

Another home win for the Bills against one of the NFL’s top teams. With this one coming in the primetime spotlight against the Steelers, the rest of the country is now officially on notice that the Bills are for real. Buffalo’s defense that got torched on many occasions early in the year has been playing much better of late. We also saw just why the Bills went out and traded for Stefon Diggs in the offseason.

5. Los Angeles Rams

Week 14 Ranking: 5

The Rams suffocating defense was too much for the Patriots to overcome in an easy Thursday night triumph. Aaron Donald continues to be one of, if not the best player in football. The shift to rookie Cam Akers as the featured running back seems to be paying dividends for Sean McVay’s offense. Los Angeles will look to hold onto the NFC West lead and a top-5 spot in the Week 15 NFL power rankings down the stretch.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 14 Ranking: 4

From 11-0 to 11-2, things are dicey for the first time all year in Pittsburgh. The Steelers lost their grip on the top spot in the AFC and will need to right the ship quickly now that the Bills have the tiebreaker over them. The defense played well Sunday night in Buffalo, but the Steelers’ offense continues to be plagued by a nonexistent running game. Ben Roethlisberger has avoided making many mistakes all season but that wasn’t the case this week.

7. Indianapolis Colts

Week 14 Ranking: 8

The Colts were fairly dominant in Sunday’s road win against the Raiders, a fellow postseason contender. The emergence of T.Y. Hilton over the last few weeks has been huge for Philip Rivers and the offense. Paired with rookie Michael Pittman Jr., he gives the colts two reliable receivers heading into the season’s stretch run. The AFC South battle is going to be something to watch the rest of the way. The real question is who had the better catch on Sunday: Kenny Moore or A.J. Brown?

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 14 Ranking: 7

The Buccaneers got some help from an all-time poor kicking performance from Dan Bailey in their victory over the Vikings. As it stands, the win is huge for Tampa Bay concerning the NFC Wild Card picture, which has gotten very crowded in recent weeks. Tom Brady’s numbers were rather pedestrian on the day, but the absence of an interception from his stat line was certainly a positive.

9. Seattle Seahawks

Week 14 Ranking: 9

The Seahawks were able to get right in a big way against a Jets team that might’ve seen their best shot at a win the rest of the season slip through their grasp last weekend. Seattle got contributions from all the usual stars offensively, and Jamal Adams secured a sack in a revenge game against the team that traded him away last offseason. Unfortunately for Seattle, beating up on the Jets doesn’t drastically move the needle when it comes to moving up the Week 15 NFL power rankings.

10. Tennessee Titans

Week 14 Ranking: 11

The Titans rebounded nicely from their loss to the Browns with a dominant performance over the Jaguars. Jacksonville may only have one win on the year, but they’ve been giving teams all they could handle in recent weeks. Derrick Henry became the first player in NFL history to rush for over 200 yards and multiple touchdowns in four different games. A.J. Brown’s catch was simply ridiculous, but I’m not sure it beats Kenny Moore’s as far as I’m concerned…

11. Baltimore Ravens

Week 14 Ranking: 12

12. Cleveland Browns

Week 14 Ranking: 10

13. Miami Dolphins

Week 14 Ranking: 13

14. Arizona Cardinals

Week 14 Ranking: 17

15. Minnesota Vikings

Week 14 Ranking: 16
