If you are unaware what NFL survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 14 survivor picks wisely.

I picked the Jets to upset the Raiders last week and was almost rewarded with that win. With a 2-1 week, my record currently sits at 29-10 and 13-0 on locks. We are at the point in the season where most of the better teams are picked, so we will have to get creative and make our picks based upon matchups for the rest of the year.

Lock of the Week | Week 14 Survivor Picks

Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars

The Tennessee Titans are in the midst of a division title run with the Indianapolis Colts. This week, the Titans are matched up against a Jaguars team who hasn’t won since Week 1. With the playoffs looming, the Titans need to continue to win games to keep a lead in the AFC South. A divisional match up against the Jaguars also presents an interesting scenario, as divisional record is a tie breaker, should the Titans and the Colts be tied up at the end of the year. Jacksonville is also in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. A loss here would keep them within a game of the Jets for the number one pick.

December also seems to be the time that Derrick Henry and AJ Brown become two of the best players in the league. Take the easy pick with the Titans here and survive another week.

Value Pick of the Week | Week 14 Survivor Picks

Dallas Cowboys vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Cowboys have been a dumpster fire this season without Dak Prescott. This is a game for the Cowboys to get on track. Believe it or not, the Cowboys are still in the race for a playoff spot and a nice matchup against the Bengals should pull them closer in the NFC East. The Bengals lack a starting quarterback, due to the injury suffered by Joe Burrow. This can be thought of as a get-right game for the Cowboys defense. The Cowboys do in fact need to win this game to keep pace in their division and a matchup with the Bengals should provide a much-needed win.

High Risk High Reward | Week 14 Survivor Picks

New York Giants vs. Arizona Cardinals

Don’t look now, but the New York Giants are atop the NFC East. With Daniel Jones possibly out again this week, the Giants will have to rely on their defense. This can play well, as Kyler Murray is currently dealing with a injury to his shoulder and should be hindered this week. If Murray can’t get going on offense, this Cardinals offense will struggle to move the ball. The Giants play very well against the run and should be able to stop Kenyan Drake and Chase Edmonds. Colt McCoy has been around the NFL for a long time and should have enough experience to manage a game and avoid dumb turnovers. Look for the Giants to pull an upset here, riding their underrated defense.
