Week 12 Fantasy Football Streamers at RB

James White, NE (vs ARI)

Rex Burkhead is done for the season, after suffering a knee injury against the Texans. Damien Harris is playing great football, but he has three receptions in the last seven weeks. Sony Michel is not a pass catcher either. That leaves James White as the only pass catching running back for the team.

With Burkhead out last week, White had five carries and six receptions on 23% of the team’s targets. He finished the week as the RB15. The Patriots take on the Cardinals, who have an explosive offense. That will establish a great game script for White to be a streamer, as the Patriots look to keep up on the scoreboard.

Wayne Gallman, NYG (at CIN)

Listen to this resume. Over the last four weeks, Wayne Gallman has been the RB14, 16, 6 and 10. He is the RB5 in fantasy points per game over that span. He plays Cincinnati, who is 17th in points given up to the RB position.

The Bengals are reeling after losing Burrow and their defense isn’t scary by any means. The Giants are favored by six points, which projects for a great game script for Gallman. The Giants are battling for a playoff spot in the lowly NFC East, so they will be highly competitive coming off the bye. Devonta Freeman is still on IR. Gallman is shaping up to be a great streamer pickup and start.

Gus Edwards, BAL (at PIT)

This is the low hanging fruit for this week at the running back position. J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram both tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the game against the Steelers. Gus Edwards had good fantasy value with Ingram hurt, and now he gets Dobbins out as well. He has taken advantage of his opportunities when he gets them. It’s a poor matchup, but he has the backfield all to himself. The Ravens are near the top of the league in rushing volume. Edwards had 87 rushing yards and 14.7 points in the Week 8 matchup against the Steelers, so he has already shown he can get it done against them.
