If you are unaware what NFL survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 11 survivor picks wisely.

Last week, I went 3-0 on my picks, pushing my season record to 23-7 and 10-0 on locks. We are at the point in the season where most of the better teams are picked, so we will have to get creative and make our picks based upon matchups for the rest of the year.

Teams used for “Lock of the Week”

  • 1 – Buffalo Bills
  • 2 – San Francisco 49ers
  • 3 – Indianapolis Colts
  • 4 – Los Angeles Rams
  • 5– Pittsburgh Steelers
  • 6– Baltimore Ravens
  • 7– New Orleans Saints
  • 8– Kansas City Chiefs
  • 9– New England Patriots
  • 10– Green Bay Packers

Lock of the Week | Week 11 Survivor Picks

Philadelphia Eagles vs Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are quietly playing good football. Sitting at 6-3, they are tied with the Baltimore Ravens for second in the AFC North. The return of Nick Chubb greatly enhances this offense and overall team. The Browns shouldn’t have to rely on Baker Mayfield to carry this team. A matchup this week features the Philadelphia Eagles who have been underwhelming this year. I fully expect Chubb to run all over this Eagles defense and carry them to victory. On the defensive side of the ball, Myles Garrett should be able to wreck havoc all day and force Carson Wentz to make some boneheaded mistakes. Look for Cleveland to grind out a solid victory on Sunday.

Value Pick of the Week | Week 11 Survivor Picks

New York Jets vs Los Angeles Chargers

I had the Chargers in this position a couple weeks back and regretted not putting them as my lock of the week that week. This might be the case here as well. Anthony Lynn might be coaching for his job on this game. The Chargers need to win this game. The Jets are a horrible team, thus proving that Los Angeles should win this game. Justin Herbert looks like the rookie of the year in the NFL and he should be able to push himself even farther up with this nice matchup. Keenan Allen is the main game changer here as the Jets don’t have anyone that will be able to matchup against him. The Chargers’ defense isn’t the best, put they have the opportunity here to show the potential surrounding them as the Jets often struggle to move the ball and score points. Look for the Chargers to pick up a much needed win this Sunday.

High Risk High Reward | Week 10 Survivor Picks

Dallas Cowboys vs Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have also been quietly playing good football as of lately. Coming off a big win on Monday night last week, Kirk Cousins should be able to ride that high and bring Minnesota to another victory. Dalvin Cook should have a field day this week and run all over the Cowboys. Minnesota needs to establish the run game early and ride it all game long, mixing in play action passes every now and then. This shouldn’t be a game where Kirk Cousins is needed to throw the ball more than 20 times. No matter who starts at quarterback, the Vikings need to play bend, don’t break defense which I truly believe they can play. Look for the Vikings to stay hot with another win this week.
