They also have lost multiple one-possession games to Kansas, Iowa State and on the road against Texas Tech. At the same time, they also have losses to Cincinnati and UCF. The Horned Frogs are led offensively by Emanuel Miller, who averages nearly 16 points per game. Defensively, TCU averages 9.1 steals per game, which is good for 15th in the country.
TCU isn’t the only team that can make their opponent’s life difficult, defensively. Utah State holds their opposition to just 28.6% this season. While the majority of those teams are from the Mountain West and their non-conference schedule was bad, that still shows just how good they are at limiting success on perimeter shots. The Aggies also have an elite scorer of their own with forward Great Osobor averaging 18 points per game.
