What is Underdog Fantasy?

In addition to live DFS drafts, Underdog Fantasy offers pick’em contests. In essence, making NFL DFS picks on Underdog combines daily fantasy sports and player props into one. A wide variety of player props exist for this weekend’s NFL Week 1 schedule. The more props a user combines, the greater their potential payout.

Unlike some other platforms in the market, Underdog Fantasy also allows users the flexibility to pick and choose which props they pair together. You can even combine DFS picks from multiple sports and games! When making Underdog Fantasy NFL picks, the only limitations are truly the user’s own imagination and creativity.

Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Payout

For the pick’em game format, users string player props together to form an entry. Without adding “insurance” to the entry, you must get every selection correct to be paid out the following payouts (unless there are player multipliers). If picks are correlated, the payout can shift a bit. With insurance, the payout is less, but you can get a selection wrong and still win money!

  • 2 Picks: 3x
  • 3 Picks: 6x
  • 4 Picks: 10x
  • 5 Picks: 20x

Much like betting odds move and update throughout the day, props at Underdog Fantasy also move. In other words, if there is a prop you like, make sure you place it quickly.

Travis Kelce HIGHER Than 56.5 Receiving Yards

People are overreacting to last season for Travis Kelce, with some even asking if he is going to continue reducing his role. Look for the superstar tight end to make a statement in Week 1.

Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs ran the ball more. The receiving corps wasn’t as good, so this was a strength of theirs. This resulted in fewer snaps for Kelce and fewer snaps overall for the offense. Regardless, he totaled more than 56.5 receiving yards over 68% of the time, and he even averaged 71.6 receiving yards at home. In his matchup with the Ravens last season, Kelce finished with 116 receiving yards. This meant he has now totaled over 70 receiving yards in all six career games against Baltimore. Don’t overthink this one.

Patrick Mahomes HIGHER Than 1.5 Passing TDs

Kelce has played great against the Ravens in his career, and so has Patrick Mahomes. The postseason match was the only time he has thrown for less than two touchdowns. With the receiving corps and offensive line improved, look for Mahomes and the Chiefs to pass more this season.

Mahomes has passed for multiple touchdowns in Week 1 of all six seasons as a starter. Look for him to play well tonight, showing the Chiefs are legit once again.

Justice Hill HIGHER Than 10.5 Receiving Yards

The Baltimore Ravens really like Justice Hill. He is going to be seeing a fair share of snaps regardless of the game script. However, if the Ravens are trailing or in a close game, then Hill will be on the field for passing-down snaps.

Hill ended last season with five straight games of more than 10.5 receiving yards. My favorite of the Underdog Fantasy picks today for the Ravens is for Justice Hill to continue right where he left off.
