Jimmy Butler is scheduled to meet with the Houston Rockets on Sunday and with the Miami Heat early next week to discuss his options.

The only hiccup for both the Rockets and Heat is that they would need to execute a sign-and-trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. The question regarding what Butler is actually worth will soon spark debate amongst fans league-wide.

The Heat is a better fit for Butler, because he will be able to actually play on offense and not watch James Harden play in isolation. Plus, the Heat have more to offer, should a bidding war spark between the Heat and Rockets in terms of both young players and salary matching capabilities.

Butler seems as though he would like to play with the Heat after seeing the way Dwayne Wade was treated during his final game. Of course, Butler was born in Houston and winning an NBA title for his hometown may appeal to him more than a possible farewell tour with Miami one day.

Teams with space for a max contract that have shown interest in Butler so far include the Lakers and Nets. Butler will likely take his time and see where others sign.
