Jacksonville Jaguars fans recently found Trevor Lawrence’s wedding registry and began donating money and gifts to Lawrence and his wife Marissa, who got married on April 10. Fans banded together to purchase a $300 high-end toaster and made monetary donations as well to the newlywed couple. A total of $31,203 was raised for the Lawrence’s wedding fund.

Lawrence himself reciprocated the appreciation to Jaguars fans and the city of Jacksonville in a tweet on Sunday.

Thank you @Jaguars fans. We really appreciate the wedding gifts and donations for charities of our choice! In addition to the donations, Marissa and I will also be donating $20K to charities in Jacksonville. Thanks again, we hope to be a part of your community soon🙏🏻

Trevor Lawrence Donates Money From Fans

With the last sentence of his tweet, Lawrence pretty much confirmed that he plans to be drafted to Jacksonville at the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft coming up in a little over a week.

Urban Meyer revealed in an interview that Jacksonville was leaning toward Lawrence, and then Lawrence himself shared his excitement and hope to be Jaguar. Jaguars fans can begin to get excited as it seems like in a week and a half, Lawrence could very well be headed to Duval County and TIAA Bank Field to be a Jacksonville Jaguar. Lawrence is already showing his enthusiasm and eagerness to be a part of the Jacksonville community.

With Meyer and Lawrence both publicly showing mutual interest in each other and in Lawrence becoming a Jaguar, it seems as though there’s no question who the Jaguars will be taking in round one next week and what decision Lawrence will end up making as well.
