Following a big fourth quarter touchdown catch in Week 4, the Travis Fulgham fantasy football owners were treated to a breakout performance in Week 5 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. With all of the injuries in the Philadelphia Eagles receiving corps, Fulgham could carve out a consistent role in this offense.

Travis Fulgham Fantasy Outlook

The sixth-round, second-year wide receiver was largely nameless before last week, but Fulgham has certainly made a name for himself. Running great routes and making terrific plays on the ball, the Eagles wide receiver found ways to make the elite Steelers defense look silly.

Fulgham put up quite the fantasy football performance, finishing the game with 10 receptions for 152 yards and a touchdown. This undoubtedly will be one of the top fantasy wide receiver performances of the weekend.

With DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, Jalen Reagor and Dallas Goedert all out for the Eagles, Carson Wentz needed to find someone reliable to pass to, and it certainly seems like Fulgham did enough to earn his quarterback’s trust here. While we cannot expect a 100-yard performance consistently, he should have a role in this Philadelphia offense going forward.
