Fantasy football Week 3 of the 2021-22 NFL season is almost in the books, with even more upsets, high-scoring games and elite fantasy performances. There were some monster Week 3 fantasy football performances from your usual performers, but some new and unfamiliar names appeared among the top.

Let’s check out the top NFL Week 3 fantasy football performances from Sunday across all positions. This week’s notable performers include Lamar Jackson, Devonta Smith and even Khalil Herbert.

Top Week 3 Fantasy Football QBs

Lamar Jackson Fantasy Stats

Stats: 325 total yards, 5 total TDs, 1 INT

Fantasy Points: 39.42 (QB1)

Lamar Jackson has looked unstoppable and has essentially been putting his entire team on his back week in and week out. This is the second week in a row he’s finished as QB1 in fantasy football as well as the second straight game with 100+ yards rushing. It’s always been hard for NFL defenses to slow him down and shut down his rushing ability, but he’s playing with a purpose lately and his fantasy football managers surely thank him.

Josh Allen Fantasy Stats

Stats: 447 total yards, 2 TDs, 1 fumble lost

Fantasy Points: 26.7 (QB3)

Josh Allen’s first half was nearly unstoppable, and it seemed like he was going to repeat last week’s performance. However, the Buffalo Bills stalled in the second half. He still managed to finish as the QB3 and currently sits at the QB2 overall through three weeks. Half of the Bills’ team was banged up and the heat exhaustion was real in Miami, so his fantasy managers can expect even better performances moving forward, but 26.7 fantasy points is still elite territory.

Top Week 3 Fantasy Football RBs

Khalil Herbert Fantasy Stats

Stats: 20 carries, 2 receptions, 169 total yards, 2 TDs

Fantasy Points: 30.9 (RB1)

With David Montgomery exiting early with an injury, Khalil Herbert stepped in and dominated the running game. He was the workhorse back, carrying the ball 20 times and finding the endzone twice. Herbert surely won’t appear in this article every week, but he is a very underrated and skilled back in an offense with a terrible quarterback. The Chicago Bears cannot pass the ball and Herbert will likely be the lone bright spot in the offense if Montgomery were to miss games.

Jamaal Williams Fantasy Stats

Stats: 20 carries, 2 receptions, 107 total yards, 2 TDs

Fantasy Points: 24.7 (RB3)

The D’Andre Swift truthers and fantasy managers had to feel the sting of Jamaal Williams’ fantasy football performance this week. Williams poached two red zone carries in Week 1 from Swift, and he scored two more this time around. The Detroit Lions offense has been pleasantly surprising, and their running game has been humming the right way through three games. Williams is still a boom-or-bust-type back if he doesn’t find the end zone, but he has upside to make this list a few times.

Top Week 3 Fantasy Football WRs

Devonta Smith Fantasy Stats

Stats: 8 receptions, 169 yards, 1 TD

Fantasy Points: 30.9 (WR1)

Man, this Philadelphia Eagles offense is something else this season. After A.J. Brown went off, Devonta Smith took that role this week. Jalen Hurts looks unbelievable through three games and the passing attack is electric. With Hurts’ and Smith’s chemistry developing, the pair will produce monster fantasy numbers. To see 30+ fantasy points from a wide receiver is a blessing for fantasy football managers.

Mack Hollins Fantasy Stats

Stats: 8 receptions, 158 yards, 1 TD

Fantasy Points: 29.96 (WR2)

Mack Hollins will likely never make this list again, but his fantasy performance cannot go overlooked. Hollins was targeted 12 times and posted nearly 30 fantasy points as arguably the fourth or fifth option in the passing game. With Hunter Renfrow sidelined, his upside went up immediately, but surely any fantasy managers that might’ve started him didn’t expect this type of performance. Huge performance, but sadly the Raiders are the only 0-3 team remaining.

Top Week 3 Fantasy Football TEs

Mark Andrews Fantasy Stats

Stats: 8 receptions, 89 yards, 2 TDs

Fantasy Points: 28.9 (TE1)

With Lamar Jackson playing so well, one would assume his pass catchers are too. Mark Andrews has now finished as TE1 in back-to-back weeks, catching three touchdowns and totaling over 175 yards in that span. It seems like Andrews has a very good shot to outscore Travis Kelce, who is the usual TE1 by the end of the season. As long as Jackson continues to play like an MVP, Mark Andrews fantasy managers should be smiling and enjoying the 20+ every week.

Tyler Conklin Fantasy Stats

Stats: 8 receptions, 84 yards

Fantasy Points: 16.4 (TE4)

Tyler Conklin is most certainly a very lowkey tight end in fantasy football because he plays for the Jets. Surprisingly, Joe Flacco loves him and has targeted him over 20 times in three games so far. With Zach Wilson returning soon, the volumes will fluctuate, but Conklin is a big, athletic tight end that can make some key plays and score fantasy points. Tight ends are a wasteland usually, so seeing these type of guys coming out of nowhere is promising for fantasy managers struggling.

Top Week 3 Fantasy Football D/ST and K

Philadelphia Eagles DEF Fantasy Stats

Stats: 9 sacks, 1 fumble recovery

Fantasy Points: 19.0

Greg Zuerlein Fantasy Stats

Stats: 4 FG made

Fantasy Points: 14.0
