Tony Bradley Puts Up Another Double-Double in Jazz NBA Summer League Win

The Utah Jazz’s Summer League team, led by second-year pro Tony Bradley, dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers from the opening tip, and cruised to a 84-71 victory. The Jazz move to 1-1 in the NBA Summer League, while the Cavs drop to 0-2.

Tony Bradley Dominates the Paint

Bradley has been the star of the Utah Summer League team in their first two games, posting back-to-back double-doubles. Bradley, the 28th pick in the 2017 Draft out of North Carolina, showed the ability to dominate down low, scoring 26 points on 9/13 shooting, hitting 8/10 from the line and collecting 16 rebounds. When he wasn’t scoring on the offensive end, he was swatting away shots on the defensive side of the floor, with three blocks.

Bradley continues to look like a player capable of helping the Jazz next season. He must show he can bring it every night, but he’s been one of the most impressive players in the Utah Summer League thus far.

Naz Mitrou-Long Bright Spot for Cavs

Mitrou-Long, an undrafted free agent in 2017 out of Iowa State, was a bright spot for the undermanned Cavs, putting up 17 points on 7/14 shooting. Mitrou-Long got some run with the Jazz last season, on two 10-day contracts, and looks like a player that could help the rebuilding Cavs.

Other Notable Performances

Justin Wright-Foreman, the 53rd overall pick in the 2019 Draft, came up big for the Jazz after a rough opening night. The high-scoring guard out of Hofstra put up 18 points on 7/12 shooting, including shooting 2/4 from range. He also had the highlight of the night, with a rim-rattling alley-oop.
