The Denver Broncos came into this game in the midst of Tebow-mania. The great Florida quarterback led the Broncos to an 8-8 record and matched up against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Round. The Steelers came into the playoffs with a 12-4 record and expected to easily defeat the Broncos. What happened next is nothing short of a miracle.

Pittsburgh immediately opened the game with two long drives, resulting in two field goals. The Broncos then exploded in the second quarter. Eddie Royal caught a 30-yard touchdown. Tebow got in on the scoring himself, running in an eight-yard touchdown. After two Matt Prater field goals, the Broncos went into halftime with a 20-6 lead.
There was only one score in the third quarter, as Mike Wallace scored a one-yard rushing touchdown. Prater opened the fourth quarter with another field goal. After two Shaun Suisham field goals and a Jerricho Cotchery 31-yard receiving touchdown, the game was tied after regulation.
The Denver Broncos started with the ball after the break and, on the first play in overtime, Tim Tebow hit Demaryius Thomas for an 80-yard walk-off touchdown. This play was the peak of Tebow-mania.
The Broncos would go on to lose to the Patriots in the Divisional round, 45-10. Although they lost, this Broncos team set the stage for the team that won the Super Bowl in 2015.
