Picked to be among the worst teams in the NFL this season, Houston has been more competitive than many would have predicted. Offensively, they were efficient under Tyrod Taylor. However, following a hamstring injury, rookie passer Davis Mills was thrown into action early, and he has been a clear downgrade. Defensively, coordinator Lovie Smith is getting the most out of the players he has, but they lack the talent to get the job down through four full quarters.
The Bills started the season slowly, losing at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since then, they have outscored their opponents 78-21, which includes a 35-0 victory over the Dolphins. The offense is more balanced than last season, proving they are more than the arm of Josh Allen. Defensively, while they haven’t faced any tough offenses, they are still looking solid and certainly good enough to keep the Texans to a low point total.
