Distributing it all around is fifth-year senior Santiago Vescovi who was crucial to Tennessee’s Sweet 16 appearances in 2019 and 2023.
Saint Peter’s on the other hand has been on a roller coaster of a season. The Peacocks started the season 1-3, two five-game winning streaks, and also a stretch where they won just two of eight games. They even entered the MAAC tournament on a two-game losing streak but were able to rattle off three straight to capture another NCAA Tournament bid. The Peacocks don’t have much of an offense and it all lies in the hands of forward Corey Washington who has made up for about 25% of Saint Peter’s points this season.
