Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers Game Info | NBA Playoffs

NBA Western Conference Quarterfinals NBA Playoffs Game 6 (PHX leads 3-2)
Phoenix Suns (54-23, 25-13 Away) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (45-33, 23-16 Home)
Date: Thursday, June 3, 2021
Start Time: 10:30 p.m. EST
Venue: STAPLES Center — Los Angeles, CA

The Suns made sure to leave no doubt in their Game 5 victory to reclaim the lead in this NBA betting series. Phoenix took full advantage of the Lakers being down one of their stars and cruised to a 30-point rout. Devin Booker exploded for 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge. Cameron Payne showed up once again with 16 points and Mikal Bridges did a little bit of everything, finishing with 13 points and 6 boards. Even though it was a quieter game for both Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton, it didn’t matter. The Suns cannot be underestimated and are proving they can hang with the defending champs.

Outside of LeBron James, the entire Lakers roster seemed to forget they had a playoff game on Tuesday. Of course, Anthony Davis failed to dress after sustaining a groin injury in Game 5. He is once again listed as a game-time decision ahead of tonight’s Game 6. James finished with a solid Game 5 line of 24 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds but he got next to no help. Kyle Kuzma (15 points) and Talen Horton-Tucker (11) were the only other Lakers to score in double figures on Tuesday. Whether Davis manages to play tonight or not, Los Angeles needs more from the supporting cast. After a terrific start to this NBA betting series, Dennis Schroder has completely disappeared. He had just a single assist and never scored in Game 5.
