The NBA Finals have fully flipped, with the Milwaukee Bucks just one win away from winning it all. The Phoenix Suns will have something to say about that, but they need to look much better than they did last time in Fiserv Forum to stop them. This NBA betting preview for the Suns vs Bucks Finals matchup will provide game info, betting trends, odds and a prediction for Game 6 of this series.
NBA Finals Game 6 (MIL Leads 3-2)
Phoenix Suns (51-21, 24-12 Away) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (46-26, 26-10 Home)
Date: Tuesday, July 20, 2021
Time: 9 pm EST
Venue: Fiserv Forum – Milwaukee, WI
Coverage: ABC
The Suns have now lost three games in a row, and the team struggles have stemmed from Chris Paul. The veteran point guard has found it tough to score while also being careless with the ball. Phoenix has also been starting games off with a bang, winning each of the past three first quarters. In fact, Phoenix has out-scored Milwaukee by 22 points over the past three first quarters, while the Bucks have then out-scored the Suns by 40 points in the last three second quarters. The Suns need to stay steady in the second quarter, if they are to win this game.
On the other side, the Bucks will look to win the NBA Finals on their home floor, and they are the NBA betting favorite. They will be joined by a rowdy crowd inside Fiserv Forum and 65,000 more in the Deer District outside! The energy in their home games has given them a major advantage, shown by them winning 17 of their last 18 home games. The crowd will attempt to inject some energy into Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has appeared to be struggling in this area as the series progressed. If he puts up one more solid game, “Bucks in Six” should finally become a reality.
Milwaukee Bucks fans — check out our new shirt representing our “terrible city,” according to ESPN.
Moneyline: PHO: (+164) | MIL: (-196)
Spread: PHO: +4.5 (-110) | MIL: -4.5 (-110)
Total: 221.5 – Over: (-110) I Under: (-110)
This NBA prediction uses NumberFire’s probability model. They give Milwaukee a 66.4% chance to win Game 6 of this NBA Finals matchup.
Paul really struggled in Milwaukee earlier this series, and I believe this continues. The home crowd has been big for the role players of the Bucks, usually helping at least one of them get hot. That’s likely all it will take for this series to end. While this game may be close for most of it, these final games have the tendancy to get away from the losing team at the very end, so we will pick the Bucks to cover the 4.5-point spread.
