Three fantasy football TE options to stream in NFL Week 11, including Pittsburgh Steelers’ tight end Pat Freiermuth.
We are past the mid-point of the season, so we have a pretty good idea of what teams are at this point. We know what tight ends are among the elite, but if you are one of those players who do not have an elite fantasy football TE, this article is for you. There are some notable tight ends on bye this week, with Tyler Warren and Juwan Johnson not playing. That leaves many in a position where they need a spot start. You may also have come into the season looking to stream the tight end position after waiting in your draft. If that is the case, you need to pick up one of these options to fill in your lineup for Week 11.
That is where I come in. I am going to give you a couple of tight ends owned in under 60% of ESPN fantasy leagues that have the best matchups to be included among our Week 11 TE fantasy football streamers! When you’re done, check out our Week 11 fantasy football rankings!
Stream These Fantasy Football TE Options in Week 11
Pat Freiermuth vs Cincinnati Bengals (7%)
I gave you Dalton Schultz as my top fantasy football TE streamer last week, and that worked out great if you followed my advice. This week, I am giving Pat Freiermuth as my top streaming tight end. In a loaded tight end room, it looks like Pat Freiermuth is the tight end that you want to have in fantasy football. On any given week, it looks like he is the guy who will find the end zone. The Steelers play the Cincinnati Bengals this week, which means that Freiermuth is in a prime position for another huge game. In the two teams’ Week 7 matchup, Freiermuth exploded for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
I would not be surprised if Freiermuth had a similar performance this week. The Cincinnati Bengals are dead last when it comes to defending the tight end in fantasy football. They are giving up 15 fantasy points per game to the position. Losing Logan Wilson at the deadline to Dallas, there is one less athletic linebacker who is available to cover tight ends. Firing up Freiermuth if you need a fill-in for Tyler Warren this week.

Mason Taylor vs New England Patriots (12.8%)
It is no secret that the New York Jets are probably the worst team in the NFL this season. They lost two key pieces on their defense at the NFL Trade Deadline, but they were able to respond last week against the Cleveland Browns on the back of two special teams touchdowns. That is probably an anomaly, as the Jets matchup with the New England Patriots this week. I am expecting the Patriots to blow the door off the Jets in this game, which means that the Jets are playing from behind for the majority of the game. That means Mason Taylor will be involved. With Garrett Wilson out with an injury, the Jets do not really have anyone else to throw the ball to.
The Patriots have somewhat struggled with opposing fantasy football TE matchups this season, giving up eight fantasy points per game to the position. A part of those eight points per game is 61 receptions to tight ends. That ranks as the fourth-most in the NFL this season. Taylor will catch passes in this game, and with the Jets trailing, falling into the end zone is certainly a possibility.
Tyler Higbee vs Seattle Seahawks (2.3%)
While Puka Nacua and Davante Adams get the shine for the Los Angeles Rams’ pass catchers, and rightfully so, I was surprised to see Matthew Stafford get the tight ends involved so much last week. I guess that is what happens when you run 13 personnel, though. Either way, looking at writing this article, I was curious to see what Higbee’s numbers have been over Stafford’s great run this season. In the last three games, Higbee has 13 targets and nine receptions (via our Opportunity Index). He is involved in this offense, but what may be more enticing is that Davante Adams is dealing with that back injury. If Adams were to miss this game, Higbee’s stock immediately rises as he becomes a major red zone threat against the Seahawks this week.
On the season, the Seahawks are giving up 9.3 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. That includes numbers of 656 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns given up. The Seahawks have also given up the most receptions to tight ends (64) this season. While the Seattle defense has played well, it is obvious that you can attack them in the middle of the field, something Stafford and Rams should be able to do, especially with Higbee if Adams is ruled out.
